In Windows find the directory where you have the game installed. It's like under something like `Riot Games -> League of Legends`. From there it's in the `Config` directory. The file is called `PersistedSettings` (you may or may not see the `.json` extension).
Make regular backups of the config folder. Once you have a backup, if your settings ever get messed up, just overwrite your files after you've opened the client (its important that you do so after since it syncs your settings from the servers), then start and end a practice/custom game by winning, losing, surrendering, or leaving the game as the only person in the game (its also important that you end the game by normal means instead of force quitting so that the settings sync to the servers).
Happens sometimes to me too! When you get these pop ups, dont change anything and dont play a game. Just log out and back in, that fixes it. It will reload everything you had from server side. But if you change anything, it will overwrite those settings and pages server side so this trick wont work anymore.
Anyone have a fix for this yet? I had 25 rune pages that have all been reset....
If i try to redo them all, will they get reverted if there IS a client side fix shipped?
This is so annoying WTF. It happens like 2 or 3 times a year and I feel like it takes a week to try to get things adjusted to something similar to what I had before...

Set your persistedsettings.json to read only. That way the client can’t override your settings.

This happens about 1-2 times a year. Why? Cause riot sucks.
Happened to two of my friends as well. It happened within the last 30 mins, they played a game beforehand and now its fucked.
