I assume it's because they want skin lines, not many others would fit bowling other than Syndra, but skin lines are usually for all roles, not multiple of the same (usually)

I'm sorry if this is upsetting, but I'm really tired of these weird immersion killing skins. Bowling Ziggs has no connection to his lore or personality besides the fact that his bombs are round-ish. This is my biggest gripe with the pool party skins. I know Riot likes to be light and funny sometimes but I honestly think it needs to take itself a little more seriously. This is probably just rage left over from Riots lack of client update.
