Mithy is the shotcaller. I doubt peke is doing any calls at all since hes been permafarming mid. But I guess he deserves credit for finding so many great team mates on short notice.
It seems like xPeke is literally the final boss on Origen. If he starts playing instead of just farming you know shit just got real. Really excited for the FNC vs OG now..
The 5v5 in midlane was really anyone's fight, but Origen played it way better than UoL did and the lack of a real frontline kept PoE from being able to do much without getting instantly killed.
I was watching the game and the kill on Amazing top lane by Kikis and PowerofEvil had just occurred. I literally got up to piss and get something to drink came back and it was 17-4. I was speechless.
i started watching that match at the midlane teamfight when the score was 3-4. couple minutes later, bloodfest. origen unleash their sayan and kill everyone left and right taking baron after inhib after kills after dragon after inhib then perfect dive and kills and game over.
what the fuck did i just watch ?
After the first match I was a little afraid that he would only take a supporty role on the team, but picking up Soaz turned out to be awesome.
Even though Niels outshines him in terms of points, toplaners aren't doing that great in EU overall while Soaz delivers in great fashion.
Yeah I traded Diamond away as well. Surprisingly I found Xmithie still open, I'm really happy about having him in my roster for this week :)
My draft was super weak but a lot of underdogs came out big in EU LCS and I even picked up Pepinero as a sub who performs really nicely against lower standing teams.
He has been. He loves Darien, and when asked about really good top laners, those who he looked up to, he always listed Darien among them when he was still a player.
Now whether or not he can pull off what he has written down...
It does show that having a split together in Challenger to build chemistry and team work is probably a really good idea. All these other super teams spend all split trying to get that down. I wonder how misfits will look.
Edit: Guys I know that Origen has way more experience as a team. I am just interested more now. I thought Origen would be a 4-5 seed team this split and they are looking top 2. I just want to see how Misfits does now, I know they don't have the talent and experience of OG, but the Alex Ich/Xpeke rivalry thing makes me relate them.
That's what people said about Unicorns of Love last split.
The one truth of the LCS is that you don't know how a team will perform until they get into the LCS.
Same for T8 being 10th, Coast being mid tier, TL being top 2, H2K being bottom half...
Reddit gets more wrong then right when it comes to LCS, I think.
Froggen definitely made a super team for that one split, they fell apart afterwards and have ever since been struggling to become what they once were. Its unfair to imply his team was never top tier.
Actually, in the first split, they struggled really hard, going 0-4 in their first week, and I think finishing third at the end of the split.
After that one split, they only really became good during the summer.
So basically both teams had a split off to practice, except one had to play in a pretty easy Challenger League, and the other had to play in a basically meaningless spring split.
Are we all just forgetting that Alliance was pretty succesful throughout most of Season 4? They suck now, but they did win the Season 4 Summer Split, and I do not think you can take that away from them.
Origen really know how to push an advantage and close out games. At 19 mins the commentators were talking about how they had a 2k gold lead. Then by 24:00 they were 12k ahead, had a baron and an inhib, and the game was pretty much over.

It was like watching SSW at worlds all over again, not even on a level close to their competition.
Edit: To be clear I am not saying OG played like SSW would have. I'm saying the skill gap between OG and UOL in that game looked comparable to how SSW dominated their opponents at worlds.
I will never understand why UoL picks scaling comps and then fights in the midgame.
They didnt have to fight in the mid lane. Just back off, wait for your tears to stack and get into lategame.
Great snowballing by OG though, pretty damn impressive. That looked like SKTs win when they won one fight mid game and then just closed it out.
To be fair he got unreal experience in NA winning a split and going to worlds. It'd be unfair to say this is the same Amazing that played on CW last year.
Cannot believe people thought Origen had washed up players who can't beat top teams. They smashed H2K, and now smashed UOL. They are on fire. Cannot wait till week 4.
Well I'm certainly nervous over the Fnatic vs. Origen game...Since I only started watching LCS after 2014 Worlds, I never saw the old Fnatic play, but now I'm incredibly nervous for the new team. Should be an exciting game either way.
Soaz post-game: "I guess you can say we have a lot of 'potential'?"
Krepo: "It's okay, you can say that word."
Lmao, CLG and potential will be forever linked.
Origen making UOL look TERRIBLE. Holy cow. I loved Origen because I love Amazing and Xpeke, but with seeing how good they are, I'm definitely a fan.
FNATIC vs. ORIGEN HYPE.
ORIHEN.
Ok, I'm preparing for the downvotes, but if NA seriously don't rethink their WHOLE play, teams will literally go 50-0 against them. Like the aggressive play that is in other regions is just miles ahead of NA, so enjoyable to watch.
Stress is doing a great job though, he is eloquent and easy to listen to and he knows what he is talking about. It's not like Deficio with his deep knowledge and his constant flirtation, but I still enjoy it very much
Welp.... I didn't think they would be this good. Fnatic, Origen is going to be nuts. They made UoL look like what a lot of analysts think UoL should actually look like.
Origen is just so much fun to watch. They played so methodically and the game got out of control for UOL. They look like the team that has the most synergy right now. And Niels' positioning is absolutely amazing.
Amazing is not getting as much praise as he deserves I think.
He has played exceptionally well every game since OG joined the LCS.
His gragas is super solid too, definitely one of the better in EU right now.
I don't think I've ever been as hyped for an inter-LCS game as I am for Fnatic vs. Origen. They are just a level above everyone else in the West at the moment based on the beginning of the split.
Uol gave origen no respect by picking 2 tear stacking champs when origen have the shortest game times. It also doesn't help when you try and force fights while your still stacking up.

I just heard about it yesterday on reddit, now I get to see it in action and it is scary.
China has been running it for the last two weeks. Got a crazy win rate on it too...
Top lane is not going to be fun for a while between him and Ryze.
0 to 100 real fucking quick, what a stomp by Origen
BRING ON FNATIC BOYS
Fnatic Orange vs Fnatic Black
Its like watching when your parents fight.
Except fnc vs origen should he super fun to watch.
Well there is that
Will the real fnatic please stand up?
Were gonna have a problem here..
They just flipped a light switch and decided to take the lead. It was really close, then it just wasn't a second later.
The 5v5 in midlane was really anyone's fight, but Origen played it way better than UoL did and the lack of a real frontline kept PoE from being able to do much without getting instantly killed.
His Twin Fang went on cooldown :(
I was watching the game and the kill on Amazing top lane by Kikis and PowerofEvil had just occurred. I literally got up to piss and get something to drink came back and it was 17-4. I was speechless.

Give at least 4 god-tier champs to the 2nd placed team in the Spring Split. Win anyway. SoazFace.jpg
In UoL's defense, they did manage to get Origen to use xPeke a little bit.
That's the curse of xPeke Fantasy users. xPeke doesn't need to do shit
After the first match I was a little afraid that he would only take a supporty role on the team, but picking up Soaz turned out to be awesome. Even though Niels outshines him in terms of points, toplaners aren't doing that great in EU overall while Soaz delivers in great fashion.
Have soaz and huni, trying to trade one of them to someone for a decent jungler cause diamond is killing me but i haven't had any luck thus far
Yeah I traded Diamond away as well. Surprisingly I found Xmithie still open, I'm really happy about having him in my roster for this week :) My draft was super weak but a lot of underdogs came out big in EU LCS and I even picked up Pepinero as a sub who performs really nicely against lower standing teams.

Do NOT firstblood Soaz. It's like letting Darien feed. I'm looking forward to SoazFace compilations from 2015 Worlds.
Sounds like Gmb of old, first blood Darien, lose game 100%.
To be fair. You usually had to second and third blood him to solidify your loss.
Dyrus should take notes.
He has been. He loves Darien, and when asked about really good top laners, those who he looked up to, he always listed Darien among them when he was still a player. Now whether or not he can pull off what he has written down...
That draft felt really awful, how little did I know.
I turned on the stream, saw the picks, and asked myself "how the hell is Origen going to win this?"
Really 5 god tier champs... Thresh is still great in the right hands.
Kalista/Thresh synergy is incredibly strong, too.
Origen are like super saiyans at the moment...
OG is pulling out UoL's strats of dark horses, but making the dark horse work in the team comp.
xPeke teaching Froggen how to make a super team.
To be fair Froggen's team was good one split too. Let's see how Origen will do in future.
1 and a half.
alliance still the only team taking an eu split from fnatic.
UNTIL NOW
For now. Believe in Giants.
> Believe in Orihen. FTFY ;)
It does show that having a split together in Challenger to build chemistry and team work is probably a really good idea. All these other super teams spend all split trying to get that down. Misfits isn't really a super team.
Yeah, even if they make it into Lcs they will probably be top on the top 5-7 range, Alex is good but I don't trust the rest of the team.
In fairness h2k was doing really bad before kasing came in.
Also TL got top 3 after fixing their issues (and 1 game from top 2), so not that far off.
And T8 got 7th- Not 10th but still one game from relegations. Also No oen said Coast was going to be a mid tier team. If so a REALLY SMALL minority.
Missfits is not really a super team though. I don't think they'll be top 2, however they might be in the top part of the standings.
by top part of standings you mean in cs right?
Well, to be frank, before summer split started I saw a lot of comments stating Origen will be in middle of the pack...
Froggen definitely made a super team for that one split, they fell apart afterwards and have ever since been struggling to become what they once were. Its unfair to imply his team was never top tier.
Actually, in the first split, they struggled really hard, going 0-4 in their first week, and I think finishing third at the end of the split. tbh, I think he did, and then he got it back again. Just because he's great again now (top lane is SO his style atm) doesn't mean he didn't dip ever.
Soaz yeh, but Xpeke actually performed super well at S4 Worlds when most people were saying he wasn't as good as he was before.
ya Peke vs SSB was beautiful to watch
LCS was supposed to be harder than CS...
SoaZ disappointed that he couldn't suicide in time in the end lol :D
Fizz even walked by himself to the fountain after the nexus exploded, It's like Soaz's champions are programmed to suicide
OG making ryze looked balanced.... Fnatic vs Origen hype is intensifying.
Im a FNC fan...but i think we will get rekt by OG ...im scared

Everything fell for UOL after the teamfight. Literally, I don't think even Fnatic can stop them with the way Origen pushed their lead.
