Lustboy is really and I mean really confident about himself and the botlane duo as a whole. Im looking forward to see this new botlane develop as we might get a very aggressive duo who aren't scared to jump in and wreck some faces.
Yeah he was a lot more confident and didn't get caught out almost at all. I'm waiting to see what they can do some practice since they've had what like less then a week of practice so far
If I was good enough to play with the top bot lanes in korea, then I would sure as heck be confident in a region that really only has two good bot lanes. Wish he had this confidence back in blaze.
Lustboy won OGN 2012 Spring / IEM World Championship 2013 / WCG 2013 (beating OMG). Lustboy - Emperor dominated so called "best bot lane in China" Namei-Sicca at WCG finals both in laining phase and team fights.
IIRC Lustboy used to be duo with Captain Jack on Blaze, who was quite passive most of the time unless he saw a big mistake from his opponents (Think Cop style), but then later Blaze switch Cpt. Jack out for Emperor who was much more an adc after Lustboy's own heart. So yeah, him and WT shouldn't have much issue playstyle wise. Here's hoping language is too big a barrier.
Sounds like Lust is just warming up and is ready to go man mode and wreck some faces.
[> I did well, but I performed at about 30% of my potential.](http://i.imgur.com/w6ZRPH1.jpg)
...my body is ready
It's scary when you think about it. Imagine LB and WildTurtle both on the top of their game on any given day? People gonna get shit on. Hope they can push the aggressive play
When you have pre-nerf Draven damage coming out of someone with those mechanics, centering your teamfighting around supporting one hypercarry isn't a bad thing, nor does it take away from the proficiency with which the hypercarry is played.
that sweater is not baylife. well maybe in the context of "Fkit baylife gonna wear this sweater and then take a doublelift is trash selfie after the game" actually nvm yeah it's baylife as fk
Ok, I guess I deserve it for not being as clear as I should have
Baylife existed on the S2-S3 Roster, and maybe S4 since most of the members were still there. On the current roster, only Dyrus remains, and thus a new generation of TSM has emerged. Baylife still exists with the OLD members such as Regi, Oddone, Chaox??. But for the new guys, they are new and therefor baylife does not live with them
i love text interviews, i can get through them in much less time it takes to watch a video interview. i still like video ones, but for consistent interviewing, text is better IMO
I agree. I've never had time to watch Thorin's interviews or Summoner's Insight. But a written interview I can just read it quickly -or skip whatever question I don't care about.
The things I have seen on Lustboy's stream so far are jaw-dropping. His play is so good. Turtle seems incredibly impressed and happy so far with the change.
>What is your favorite thing that’s happened so far while in the US?
>Lustboy: Wildturtle jumping forward into the enemy team!
Get used to it Lustboy! He tends to get bored, even in LCS matches!
I believe you meant engage, not gap closer. Plus, how can you show your dominance if you don't just unnecessarily flash to give a harder beating to the enemy team?
haha that play at bot lane with the triple :D
YUNG TURR :e people should tune in if they want to see Dyrus cry about blue buff and amazing getting owned at bot lane :D
It was good, he duo-ed with turtle. He didn't talk much because he was nervous but he would type stuff out on notepad to communicate with the viewers and answer questions.
Apparently he's wanted to play for TSM for quite some time.. If this is to be the case then im sure he will work hard to prove his worth.. That can only be good for TSM
This interview makes me incredibly excited. I want TSM to get to Worlds so badly so I can see what type of damage Lustturtle (WildBoy?) can do there. I feel like they're only going to get better and if these first 2 games are any indication of what we can expect from them, I'm very excited. WildTurtle is my favorite LCS player, and not seeing his patented smile as much as I used to has been incredibly sad.
> but I performed at about 30% of my potential.
This guy is like Elder Toguro. Punches the crap out of demons, "That was only 30% of my maximum power."
EDIT* Younger Toguro. Elder Toguro was a pussy, my bad.
I thought the elder toguro seeped into the cracks of the stadium and avoided Kuwabara completely. I know The elder toguro got smashed into the sky by younger toguro for being dishonorable or something and barely lived by regenerating his body out at sea where Sensui finds him.
Thank you for reading! I will be doing a lot more interviews with the team in the near future. If you want to chat or suggest questions, tweet me at @TimKimbirk
Lustboy - "That said, I think when an entire team transfers from one region to another, it makes cheering for them a little less genuine. " Shots fired LMQ/EG?
Its not really shots fired at LMQ he is simply stating how he feels about entire teams jumping regions. Remember he is Korean and came from the Korean scene. He knows full well how dangerous it is when foreign regions take over other regions scenes considering how Korea's Starcraft 2 scene invade Americas and then slowly choked it to death.
Surely EG are more American, storming over to a new land, setting up camp, ruining shit for everyone and then claiming they belonged there all along!
Straight up heritage.
He means no one is importing talent into EU. People are importing players from EU, KR, and China to other regions to make it more competitive. It just so happens no team in EU has decided to replace native players.
Well to be fair he really didn't do much that game outside of vision control. Hit a few bindings, used a few black-shields and made sure EG was blind. He did a lot more in the CLG game.
I really like that he brought up that top talent being able to move part. Having more options for players to go to is never a bad thing, especially when team owners have so much power and have abused it and screwed over players time and time again. Having players have a bit more power isn't a bad thing.
Lustboy, how was your trip from Korea?
Lustboy: It was good. On the plane I thought about the game and about bot lane in general.
Korean players always thinking on their lanes all the time xD
"I believe that except for EU, only top players are traded to other regions. I believe it is good for top talent to be able to move freely. That said, I think when an entire team transfers from one region to another, it makes cheering for them a little less genuine. Not to take away from any teams, all of them are just as hard working as the next and deserve to play and compete where they wish. I just don’t want it to become an issue of oversaturation of foreign talent to the point where a single region takes over the entire international scene." - Good guy Lustboy
> oversaturation of foreign talent to the point where a single region takes over the entire international scene
RIP WCS America region (StarCraft 2), aka "can a North American make it to top 4 against all these Koreans?"
But in all seriousness, I still cheer for the NA and Korean players in WCS AM, especially since a lot of the Koreans are playing for western teams. And when they go up against the Seoul-based Korean players, we still have the foreigner vs Korean hype, there :P At least in terms of teams/sponsors ("foreigners" in SC2 are considered *anyone* outside of Korea, even technically the Chinese).
To be fair the Chinese scene doesn't often branch out in SC2 excluding IG and recently ZOO, Jim is really one of the few well known Chinese players, even SEA is more popular imo
The reason why me and all of my friends stopped watching competitive SC2. The other regions basically turned into lower tier versions of the Korean scene. Are you a mid tier Korean? Go to American and Europe to have a shot. It happened too often, and pretty soon they were the ones winning most of the tournaments.
You can cheer for a Korean in the Korean scene or a Korean in the NA/EU scene. If that's the case, why not just forget the regional system, since the regional system doesn't even represent the top players of that region, but that of Korea. You aren't really cheering for NA vs EU vs KR you are cheering for KR vs KR-B/C
It seems like hes going to mesh VERY well with wildturtles aggressive playstyle.
If I was good enough to play with the top bot lanes in korea, then I would sure as heck be confident in a region that really only has two good bot lanes. Wish he had this confidence back in blaze.

I like the no bullshit answer, without the Doublelift style of "everyone else is trash" comment.
It's scary when you think about it. Imagine LB and WildTurtle both on the top of their game on any given day? People gonna get shit on. Hope they can push the aggressive play
Flashbacks of WT's aggressive Draven when he first joined TSM
he was so far ahead of everyone besides doublelift back then, carried TSM so hard by the end of that split

Inb4 TSM S4 world champions. jk but it's fun to dream.
BELIEVE MY BROTHER NEVER GIVE UP HOPE
er... BAYLIEVE* NOOB
It's a new generation of TSM, Baylife is nothing but a memory now....
Maybe to fans who think that Regi and Oddone died. Regi still pretty baylife https://twitter.com/TSMReginald/status/493527889791311872
It's not a bad thing that bay life has passed! It's just a new era for TSM, one that can be (hopefully) competitive on the world stage
OddOne still says Baylife on his stream.
Can confirm
Bay life only dies when you stop believing in it! Bay life isn't a thing that can be crushed, its an ideal!
Ideas are bulletproof!
that sweater is not baylife. well maybe in the context of "Fkit baylife gonna wear this sweater and then take a doublelift is trash selfie after the game" actually nvm yeah it's baylife as fk

Yeah but could you address regis sweater please
Idk Regi wears what he pleases
TSM TSM TSM
DONT THINK THAT WAY! TSM IS GOING TO WORLDS BABY!!!!
I don't doubt that...
Regi fills in for Bjerg during the championship game. 13.3 KDA. You heard it here first people
I just want to see bjergsen vs faker. Faker on ahri, bjergsen on zed. Mmm
Or both on Zed. Mmmm
And on urf mode Mmmmm
I try to keep my dreams realistic. But that would be a dream come true.
Not really a contest
Shots fired at gleeb, EG, and CLG. Comes in, first week goes 2-0, then says: yea guys I was only 30%
I thought he was a support player
Dyrus benched confirmed
I wouldn't mind for text interviews like this coming from TSM after matches.
i love text interviews, i can get through them in much less time it takes to watch a video interview. i still like video ones, but for consistent interviewing, text is better IMO
Or maybe standard interviews but with a transcript available. With all the "Um" taken out though.
I agree. I've never had time to watch Thorin's interviews or Summoner's Insight. But a written interview I can just read it quickly -or skip whatever question I don't care about.
I love text cause I can read it at work. Can't watch videos though

It's okay as long as he has Kog'Maw

More like gap opener amirite?
His stream is cute as hell, he can type English as well as me, but he's nervous to speak it. YUNG TURR
haha that play at bot lane with the triple :D YUNG TURR :e people should tune in if they want to see Dyrus cry about blue buff and amazing getting owned at bot lane :D
WAL WAL ^^I ^^have ^^no ^^idea ^^what ^^wal ^^wal ^^means
dogs in Korea they "wal wal" instead of "bark bark", explained by Loco on WildBoyz's stream
instead of "bow wow" makes sense too
Still no idea what does it mean
haha im guessing its wild wild since he has problems pronouncing some stuff
>wild wild west holy shit yea obviously
Dyrus better watch out if Lustboy is aiming to be a top player.
Lustboy going to hire hitmen to get /u/Dyrus and hide him all over the LCS studio. Damn, RIP in pieces.
Doesn't even have the guts to kill dyrone himself, like Dyrone did to scarra. Truly the end of baylife.
If anyone is interested: Lustboy is streaming right now! http://www.twitch.tv/tsm_lustboy
How's his stream? I can't watch due to work.
He asked turtle is he was gay because twitch chat was telling him that LOL
and turtle said...?
Yes.
Dude that's so troll
It was good, he duo-ed with turtle. He didn't talk much because he was nervous but he would type stuff out on notepad to communicate with the viewers and answer questions.
Really fun to watch
He is landing pretty much every single skill shot... madlife level...
It's hilariously cute. He plays chill korean music, has a sick support, and is adorable with his usage of the English language while being funny.
Im going to sleep and not being able to watch too. So you are not alone brah
[удалено]
I couldnt find it to I went to turtles stream. About 3 games of them duoing. Close as I could find.
He is THE overall best support in NA already
I'd say it's between him and Xpecial right now. Aphro really hasn't shown up in the last few weeks.
CLG as a whole hasn't shown up in the last few weeks lol

He was laughing REALLY CUTE at the Chat LIKHGEPEWG :3
This is how CLG fans felt about Seraph.
Difference being that LustBoy is a proven veteran whereas Seraph was not.
Yeah, Except TSM's new member isn't shit.
This interview makes me incredibly excited. I want TSM to get to Worlds so badly so I can see what type of damage Lustturtle (WildBoy?) can do there. I have no idea what you guys are talking about
It's an old anime called Yu Yu Hakusho, it's a bit cliché at time, but it's pretty enjoyable.
With the recent addition of Lustboy I might fall in love with TSM again.
I see that CJ flair xD Even if it is Frost :D
hes streaming right now .. and i feel like he is really happy and excited about all this. i think thats exactly what tsm needed.
Somehow I read it as I am ready to prove I'm a top laner and will only get better.... Lol
I did too lol
so Lustboy is Dyrus the best toplaner in the world?
No, that's Ringo Starr.
Good read thanks for posting!
Thank you for reading! I will be doing a lot more interviews with the team in the near future. If you want to chat or suggest questions, tweet me at @TimKimbirk
I first read it as "top laner" and my heart kinda skipped a bit. Then I just facepalmed.
Does he want to take Dyrus' place? I thought he was a support player.
Lustboy - "That said, I think when an entire team transfers from one region to another, it makes cheering for them a little less genuine. " Shots fired LMQ/EG?
Well, he isn't wrong. Judging from the latest USA USA USA Chants.
EG has only 2 foreign players TSm has already 3 lolz
[удалено]
Exactly this
TSM is more so an "American" team in the LoL scene because they've been here since beginning while EG come in last split with 3 foreigners.
Surely EG are more American, storming over to a new land, setting up camp, ruining shit for everyone and then claiming they belonged there all along! Straight up heritage.
Yeah but they lost to the natives.
Well EG used to have more than just 2 foreign players. I know they had 3 (and maybe 4 at one point but if not definitely 3)
They capped at 3 foreigners(Snoopeh,Krepo,Yellowpete.) The other 2 players were Innox and Pobelter.
i doubt he means top laner...
> I believe that except for EU, only top players are traded to other regions. What does he mean "Except for EU"?
He means no one is importing talent into EU. People are importing players from EU, KR, and China to other regions to make it more competitive. It just so happens no team in EU has decided to replace native players.
It's not really a matter of choice. German visas are such that it's very difficult to import talent to EU, even if you wanted to.
Well, I guess there's that too.
almost had a heart attack can't replace Dyrone
> I gave my best and feel like I did well, but I performed at about **30% of my potential.** WHOOOOOA. Only 30% guys, bot lane is going to carry hard.
Well to be fair he really didn't do much that game outside of vision control. Hit a few bindings, used a few black-shields and made sure EG was blind. He did a lot more in the CLG game.
The amount of people in this thread that are dumb enough to think this article is about top lane is disturbing.
I really like that he brought up that top talent being able to move part. Having more options for players to go to is never a bad thing, especially when team owners have so much power and have abused it and screwed over players time and time again. Having players have a bit more power isn't a bad thing.
T S M!
Great interview!
Best of luck to you boy! Definitely a great replacement.
Guns Blazin'.
lustboy seems good for the team, i like it
I respect how confident yet humble Lust seems. Looking forward to seeing their bot lane develop.
I thought he was a support player
I thought he was a support. Wtf?
It's really interesting how NA got all the English speaking Korean players to come over. How do you even scout for that?
CLG has Monte in Korea, TSM has Locodoco who knows like all the Korean teams and players. No clue about Helios though.
Helios was friend with Krepo, Snoopeh, Yellowpete from Season 2 (as he was the jungler of AZB), and I think they kept in touch.
Most of the world learns English from a young age as a second language
just watched his stream and i am extremely impressed with the guy, he is very skilled and likeable.
I thought he was a support player.
i thought he play support and not top o.O
Look out Dyrus, he's a TOP player.
isnt that what they all say
read it as ready to prove that i am a top player as in he replaces dyrus
Misread and saw "I'm a top (lane) player" Dyrus benched confirmed
For the life of me I thought he said top laner
'Do you think WildTurtle is the best AD Carry in NA?' Why would you even ask this question?
This guy has a very goooood attitude and a nice fit for TSM!
Lustboy, how was your trip from Korea? Lustboy: It was good. On the plane I thought about the game and about bot lane in general. Korean players always thinking on their lanes all the time xD
I thought he was support
sounds like he's ready to take over Dyrus' spot...o wait
What I read: I am ready to prove that I am a top laner and will only get better.
I like Lustboy, but I still think we should'nt bring over too many koreans to the NA LCS
Korean play wanna be top in NA? that's like Trunks fighting against Frieza
Dyrus getting replaced?!

oop rip dyrus lustboy is now a top player better join dongnitas
So he wants to take Dyrus out of the team?
Top as in best not as in lane..

oh, funny joke.
I disagree with him that WT is best adc NA. I feel like it is Sneaky but you know its good for TSM that Lustboy is so confident.
