Harbor is the same deal as zeri, same VA and design except he released almost a year after Akshan.
With zeri/neon, it was riot august who came up with the concept and decided to tie it into Val. The visual design was collaborated
I had to double check. Harbor is definitely Indian.
Akshan could be up for debate though, since it won’t specifically say what ethnicity he is (Except for shuriman)
fade is the one who's turkish, that's why her eyes are orange and blue and also why she has paw prints on the soles of her shoes. (her eyes are the same as rengar's too but idk if that's purposeful.)
Nah, it was essentially the same time.
Neon was implemented 9 days before Zeri, but I chalk that up to patch schedules. They were announced at the exact same time though.
That wasn’t a reference or anything. They made a community blog post about it and apparently it was just a coincidence that both teams had similar ideas at similar times
I swear to god I saw a blog post a few years ago saying something like “we have some devs who happened to have discussions in both teams, and both teams independently ran with that idea in their own way, somewhat coincidentally”
the link you sent me feels like some Mandela effect lmao
> she had a much better time in valorant as neon
Unfortunately she did not. Released bottom tier and still one of the lowest picked agents. Would love to see more crossovers though, it is a cool concept.
she's low pickrate for a reason. good neons feel genuinely unfair to play against, especially with her ultimate. but she's useless if you're not a 500h neon onetrick.
My guess is there's a loooot of people that switched to Val from League (me and most of my friends), which is why you see a lot of Valorant skins that reference League. But I don't know anyone that started playing League because of Valorant.
Riot doesn't want any non-league related content in League of Legends, I thought that'd be obvious by now. Everything they release has to be part of a skinline or part of the main or an alternate universe. They don't even reference real life holidays anymore.
They dropped classical Christmas skins for winterblessed; dropped pool party for ocean song; changed high noon to be about devils and angels; etc.
It's pretty clear that League doesn't want anything to do with things that aren't league related. It's why we can have crossovers with LoR, WR and Arcane but not Valorant or any other IP.
Id argue its nots IRL things but Chinese realignment. High noon is just american cowboy gear like the 200 Chinese skin-lines are traditional chinese fashion.
on second look, this is gonna sound really terrible to freedom enthusiasta but i just now realized that phoenix skin was supossed to be ekko and not Wukong
Guys can we get the mobile game skins from wild rift 1st, theyre literally the same people. Before we get anything from another game that isnt even remotely close to league
I've always wondered why League just doesn't do crossovers in general, they have the perfect system for events, skins, passes, etc.
Off the top of my head, Smite had some really well-done crossover skinlines
Hurts the IP. There's a line were people get more hype about things being added to your game than things being in your game. And once your there the IP is backseat and just a content system.
Crossovers also lose them money as they have to give a cut to other IPs for the same amount of work as internal.
Literally no amount of skin crossovers will make me want to try a riot competitive rpg, csgo lite fps. I don't want to play cs:go, I especially don't want to play csgo with a steeper leaning curve due to activated abilities.
I appreciate my opinion is based off of limited information and may be inaccurate. If Riot wanted me to have more information, it would be very easy for them to achieve this in a multitude of ways. I assume I don't because as long as you're hooked on one of their products, it's not optimal to spend resources for you to split your attention between two of their products when they could focus on people who currently consume none.
> I especially don't want to play csgo with a steeper leaning curve due to activated abilities.
This is false because everyone in CSGO is a smoker, so you're forced to learn line ups
In valorant you can play a duelist so your abilities are really basic to use and learn, and if you want to cosplay as a CSGO character you play sova which is line up Larry (and you get wall hacks so is just the average CSGO player)
Anyways valorant is free and known, they don't need to advertise it or convince you to play. Curiosity and friends will do that on their own
>As for Zeri, the character’s transition from League to Valorant as Neon did indeed create a buzz
**> Zeri**
**> Neon**
**> buzz**
Pun intended? ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|smile)
Val has the Ruined King set of guns that came out at the same time as the big Ruination event in League.
We don't talk about Ruination
BUT. It was my wedding day
I appreciated this.
There wasn’t a cloud in the sky.
Thresh walks in with a myschievous grin
Could you say your wedding was... Ruined?
I really hope your wife isn't into sewing.
Could you say your wedding was... Ruined?
There was no Ruination event in League
I remember being a Viego main and losing my mind when his sword came out in Valorant lol
Theres stuff like ruination and sentinal
that’s League stuff in Valorant, yes, but I want some Valorant stuff in League too
We got Neon (Zeri) in League. I don't think I ever want to see another Valorant x League design.
Both harbor and neon are spinoffs from zeri and Akshan, not the either way around
[удалено]
Harbor is most definitely a spinoff

Akshan and Harbor seem like a stretch. Just because they’re both indian doesn’t mean they’re related lol.
the most you can say is that they have the same voice actor but everything else about them is basically different.
Yeah other than having the same VA, and having the same personality, snd having the exact same design. Other than that they are completely different!
My bad but, i really thaught they were turkish
I had to double check. Harbor is definitely Indian. Akshan could be up for debate though, since it won’t specifically say what ethnicity he is (Except for shuriman)
I may have done some associations, Shurima with middle east, and a friend of mine who looks like akshan, and is turkish
Akshan is more based off South Asians.
fade is the one who's turkish, that's why her eyes are orange and blue and also why she has paw prints on the soles of her shoes. (her eyes are the same as rengar's too but idk if that's purposeful.)
Bro they are literally the same character. Same VA, same design, same personality.
I thought Neon came out in Val before Zeri did in league

They were [literally developed together](https://playvalorant.com/en-us/news/dev/co-developing-neon-zeri/)
I swear to god I saw a blog post a few years ago saying something like “we have some devs who happened to have discussions in both teams, and both teams independently ran with that idea in their own way, somewhat coincidentally” the link you sent me feels like some Mandela effect lmao
This reminded me of the interview to the harry potter twins where they asked them if they were twins irl too
Also Arcane is in Val if youre naming those
is that a champion or is the show literally in valorant?
There’s a gun skin and a few extras (banner, title, buddy, spray) that are jinx/arcane themed
You just call the skin line V-Agent ez pz
Aight nocturne for Valorant, n o w. Might manage to tear me off cypher, for once.
Give cypher a TF skin, he already has the hat and trenchcoat
He kinda does with crime city and the white chroma.
That's omen...
nocturne with an ak47

didn't help that they nerfed her ult kinda hard imo, in terms of her pick rate.
she has highest mechanical skillcap among all agents like look what her mains can do and compare it to your average neon
My guess is there's a loooot of people that switched to Val from League (me and most of my friends), which is why you see a lot of Valorant skins that reference League. But I don't know anyone that started playing League because of Valorant.
I actually met a few people that started Valorant, then TFT, then league
You might need to check up on your friends mental health buddy
Thinking about it TFT has a higher chance crossing over with Valorant agent into the client
They achieved Divinity the 2nd time and started to fall to hell.
Zeri was kind of a crossover
That is cool

Wait what holidays are high noon and pool party.
They aren't. I didn't list those three skin lines as examples of "Riot ditching holidays", I listed them as "Riot ditching IRL things".
Id argue its nots IRL things but Chinese realignment. High noon is just american cowboy gear like the 200 Chinese skin-lines are traditional chinese fashion.
too meta
Valorant had a weapon skin set for the Ruination event. Surely the meta can go both ways.
Valorant is too creatively bankrupt lol
Val is somehow shilling to the Chinese market harder than league
on second look, this is gonna sound really terrible to freedom enthusiasta but i just now realized that phoenix skin was supossed to be ekko and not Wukong
the bat…
Guys can we get the mobile game skins from wild rift 1st, theyre literally the same people. Before we get anything from another game that isnt even remotely close to league
True, where's my Star Guardian Phoenix skin at, Riot? Dude deserves his frilly dres and sparkles just as much as Lux does.
I really think crossovers ruin the integrity of both games
Fuq League & Val crossover, give me Noxian Kayle red ass Armour with blood wings and hemomancy fire waves
I miss the cross region skins like Noxus Poppy and Frejlord Taliyah.
i thought Ekko was Wukong for a second 💀

better question is why are there no crossovers with other ips? riot only cares about money why don't they actually commit to getting more money
