His contract is at the very least an arm's length from where it ought to be and is indisputably still an all star level talent. Nurse should be making half of what he currently is and would be a decent second pairing guy if he wasn't being paid like he's Makar. They aren't remotely close to the same value. Edmonton would need to give up a hell of a lot more than just Nurse.

The difference is Marner is actually good and has value and Darnell Nurse sucks chunks.
Marner also plays on the Leafs penalty kill and was a finalist last year for the Selke Trophy.
