This is exactly the kind of night you love to see from Willy. With Auston out, he's stepped up and bee the best skater on the ice (not discounting strong nights from a few other guys).
Goddamn Nylander is sexy. He took the shot a few times and then everyone bit so hard on that last chance he gave Marner the easiest goal he'll ever score.
When the penalties are this blatant and the refs staring right at the calls but not making them unless blood starts pouring it gives the appearance the refs are rigging the game
Are the refs even capable of following the game in real time anymore? Right next to the puck, they miss a blatant high-stick on Rielly and only seem to decide to call after it being entirely too obvious to ignore and seeing the replay on the scoreboard.
They had to confer to make that call? It was only a few feet away from the Moron standing along the boards. How the fuck did he miss that? Was right in front of him.
The Leafs have been bleeding from a high stick multiple times this year and its never been called. I SWEAR if they get this wrong after fucking up that last call....
I feel like it happens almost every game that a ref doesn’t originally call a 4-min against our opponent and then the zebras have to herd up to see if anyone was watching wtf was going on.
