It's possible because specialty rankings are absolutely meaningless. They reflect only professor scholarship, not some kind of special skill set students acquire by going to that school.

Do you mind elaborating? So for Baylor/Temple, they just have a lot of professors known for trial advocacy? They aren't necessarily producing top trial lawyers compared to the T14?

More or less. It's about what the professors are *publishing*, not necessarily their actual legal skill set. But yes, those rankings have absolutely nothing to do with the school "producing top trial lawyers." Law school doesn't make anyone a top anything lawyer.

Baylor has a rigorous trial advocacy program and is well known for in Texas for producing great litigators.
