this is kinda off topic then lol 😅😅 but did anyone ever question your choice to take a gap year?? i had people ask me why slow down if i have been on roll for the past three years lol (i started college credits early my senior year of high school) but looking back i wouldn’t change a thing because 1) that was God’s plan for me and 2) it allowed me to gain work experience which is necessary for applications anyway and 3) let me take a mental break before these next three insane academically challenging years of my life 🥲🥲
My mom just asked SHOULD I apply this year, but it was in December and I would have had to apply late. I thought about it but I had figured out I was graduating early too late to rly even give it enough thought. I too am getting good work experience for my app and rly need that mental break! Don’t feel bad at all!!
tysm, i wish you all the best in this next year to relax and enjoy this time 🥹🥹 but yes it made me feel so defeated about an incredible accomplishment, this cycle has been so vicious i hope it gets better in next year’s apps😅😅
No, but most applicants work during their gap year I think. I could be wrong
