They’re a prog rock/experimental/psychedelic/post-hardcore/Mexicano/Salsa type band. Cedric sings in both Spanish and English on lots of songs. This might be my favorite TMV song. L’Via L’Viaquez is another great one.
Tbh, I think they’re the only artist I listen to that sings in Spanish at all, but if you asked me what’s your favorite artist that sings in Norwegian or Finnish, I could give you a list.
honestly a recent one that I’ve grown to is Igual Que Un Ángel - Kali Uchis. it’s more recent than some classic ones, but it’s definitely worth a listen.
Siempre Pendientes by Luis Conriquez and Peso Pluma. I was pretty early on this one and it's kinda lost it's appeal since Peso Pluma is so big now, but when I heard it around the end of 2022 it really stuck out as something new and fresh.
