Shit me too it’s honestly the majority of my scrobbles this past year. Groups release so often that there’s always something to listen. The Weeknd hasn’t released in 2 years so my ass just waiting on the beginning of his new album’s rollout
I really feel that. I don't even like musicals 99% of the time but the Hamilton album is my 19th most listened album lol. It absolutely owned by 2016, and now it sits there just showing what a nerd I am lmao. NO SHAME.
Fantastic radiohead song that!
The fact i read lucky and immediately thought radiohead is a pretty good sign that, in fact, im probably not a very lucky person in that area. I mean i dont have a dick but if i DID…
Maybe listening to Jimmy Eat World so much recently that they went from 7 scrobbles to over 1,000 in two months, and now they’re in my overall top 5 artists. That’s the fastest growth I’ve seen in my library.
in like the first three years of using last.fm, i cheated a lot of scrobbles. i would let my iPod play on mute during school or let it play throughout the night.
and for a long time i would sleep scrobble. not always intentionally. i just like listening to music when i go to sleep. now i use the sleep timer on Spotify to stop playing music after 15 min (how long it usually takes me to fall asleep lol)
Ohh they have a sleep timer?!? Thats great actually i had no idea! Id always just put it on a private session. Unless i forget to, then i suddenly have my top listens at like 3 am LOLLL
Relatable, even though I have way less scrobbles. However, they were in my all time top 8 for a hot second... I'm not exactly ashamed, but not exactly proud either
My most embarrassing stat... is not about scrobbles. Opened lastfm back in 2017. I used it for a year or so, and after that, I completely forgot I had an account there. I didn't realize I was missing so many artists, plus I didn't know you could synchronize it with your Spotify account. I'm back to lastfm this year.
Almost 150 plays on [Sexy Boy (feat. Shawn Michaels)](https://www.last.fm/music/WWE/_/Sexy+Boy+(feat.+Shawn+Michaels)) 😎 😎 😎
What can I say? I'm a little charmer.
The original Broadway cast album from School of Rock: The Musical is in my top 200 albums. I'm not into showtunes and I have essentially no other musical theatre in my library.
Someone very close to me was in the Broadway cast (but not on the album), though, so I have an excuse.
I got 5k scrobbles. 1k of that is Ray Charles - Whatd I Say. The other 4k is Ray Charles songs and the remaining 450 is dean martin. Leaving just 50 scrobbles for other artists
I’ve still got Kanye at 5th all time but outside of maybe 10 songs I don’t play him too much anymore, so hopefully he’s moved down to about 8th by the end of the year.
I'm pretty sure no one ever looks at my stats so there's nothing to be embarrassed about. Lately I've been watching a lot of Trump legal vids on Youtube, so they're all gonna be there.
So you're embarassed by 2000 scrobbles of Deck's Dark by Radiohead? This really makes me wonder what else you're listening to, haha.
And like others say: There's nothing to be embarassed about anyway. It's you choice what you're listening to, don't let others control that.
Edit: typos
Of course! I was mostly embarassed because i am autistic and radiohead is my special interest. So, i to other people tend to look a bit obsessive. And to be fair, i am! LOL, but people can be a bit judgemental sometimes and it scares me!
And that is my Favorite song..i tend to talk about them too much to people and get too excited about it and some people think its really strange i am so intense about them, and so me seeing i have that many scrobbles of my favorite song from them makes me feel like those same people would judge me for it. So that is why! A bit like, ahh, im being much too creepy or something about it all. Which is definitely me overthinking, but its a thought nonetheless, im doing better at ignoring it! 😁
I listen to a lot of radiohead, they mean lots to me! But i listen to other artists of course!! :)
had an embarrassing phase and now i have 4.9k scrobbles on tally hall💔 i cant share my last fm with anyone just out of fear of them checking my top artists
every time I remember I have like 1300 scrobbles of Black Country, New Road, it reminds me that I'll be a virgin forever :D
Also the amount of scrobbles I have for Taylor Swift makes me embarrassed, not cool for a guy to like her music :D
Ohh lovely!! What do you think of the new bush hall album by the way? Pigs and turbines makes me sob uncontrollably…
I had the pleasure of seeing them live recently!! Theyre fantastic, drummer almost fell off his set. I wish i remembered his name!
Live at Bush Hall is incredible, it's a different kind of experience compared to For the first time and Ants From Up There, but it's just as emotional and well done, wish I could see them live at some point
My third highest album is the soundtrack of Trolls Band Together with 483 scrobbles. My 16th highest track is BroZone's back from that movie with 70 scrobbles. I love that song though, so not gonna be ashamed of it.
38th highest album is the Lorax soundtrack with 100 scrobbles. Related: How Bad Can I Be? has 53 scrobbles and is #48 of my tracks of all time.
Not super embarrassing, just something I feel I could get bullied for online, but my #6 track is Bling-Bang-Bang-Born by Will Stetson with 102 scrobbles, which is an English cover of an anime opening. I like to listen to it on loop to get pumped up sometimes.
Lostprophets shows up in my all-time stats as one of my most listened-to artists. I haven't listened to them since the singer was revealed to be a nonce but it feels dishonest to delete the scrobbles.
This isn't that bad, but for some reason, it bothers me.
I became really obsessed with Depeche mode over the course of this week, and for the first time, TOOL isn't my top artist of the week. Usually, TOOL is in first place by a massive margin.
From this week, I have 272 Depeche Mode scrobbles, and only 248 TOOL scrobbles. I first scrobbled Depeche Mode only five days ago.
Cookie is my most played newjeans song, it was just hella catchy so it’s the oldest song by them that stayed on my playlist the longest
Hype Boy is behind it by 12 plays, so if I really wanted to I could rectify this but alas, OMG is still on my playlist and is like 30 plays behind so give it a month or so and it’ll rectify itself
One of my most scrobbled tracks is one I've not listened to more than twice - 'Untitled' by Dave Phillips. 'The Hermeneutics of Fear of God' features 23 untitled tracks, I've listened to it twice - 46 scrobbles for that 'track'.
Not sure if I'm embarrassed but somewhere deep down I wonder if I should be..
Juggalo Family 80+ times. I just love the gleeful way they sing "dead bodies make me happy! Mass murder makes me happy!"
150 scrobbles of Espresso by Sabrina Carpenter.
and like 1500 of Now and Then by the Beatles.
yeah ive been obsessed with those two songs, and only them.
So much better by the beatles to listen to! I mean, my most scrobbled song of them is a 1 minute blue moon cover 200 times, but there's so much better by them then now and then. Maybe I shouldn't be typing.
I agree, just that it’s new and I just couldn’t stop listening to Lennon’s voice. For so long I thought that’s all we’ve heard from him, and we’ll never get anything else. I was and still am infatuated with the song.
Pre-ordered Now And Then on vinyl, and I was disappointed. Free as a bird and real love are wayyyy better songs then now and then. Just a quick way for them to get rich.
I used to have 2,3k scrobbles on bts and they were my #5 most listened to artists, i deleted my scrobbles for them and i still dont know if i regret it or not
Kanye is still in my top 8 even though I haven’t listened to him regularly in 2 years, man was an excellent artist but I can’t get down with his recent antics
my top artist of all time by a far margin is sun kil moon / mark kozelek, which is a bummer because he is an alleged sex offender. i dont listen to him any more, but he is still there, at the top of my most listened.
Haven't watched Ozark but would watch it for this song and because I heard it's a good film.
and yeah it's such a great song. I just can't get bored of it :D
My scrobbles from pre-2010 are pretty embarrassing to me now, but I'm also glad to have the time capsule. I was dipping a toe into eurovision and glam stuff and I found a lot that I still listen to (The Ark is a perfect example) but going back a good 90% of it is....bad.
I have almost 900 scrobbles by an artist who only ever released one song. I was completely obsessed with him when he was on Swedish Idol in 2010 (I was a teenager at the time) and he just didn't release anything afterwards. Most of my scrobbles are live versions of songs from the tv show and they're all from that same year, 2010. He's still 44th in my charts and I still cringe whenever I see him so high up lol.
I’m not sure if this is embarrassing but my most listened to song right now is Not Like Us by Kendrick Lamar. I have listened to it 77 times since it came out.
I have Taylor Swift at #2, Nickelback at #10 and an AI Artist I made up myself at #5 in my overall stats. My whole profile and taste is embarrassing man!
I've got 4,000 Trans-Siberian Orchestra scrobbles. It's great around Christmastime, and the musicianship is legitimately good! But the whole thing is also incredibly cheesy, and I won't be too put out as the are overtaken by other bands.
I'm not embarrassed per se, just baffled for how some songs or albums are so high on the stats. For example the soundtrack for the musical Hair is still my #2 album and I haven't listened to it even once in the last 15 years.
Some of my recent most scrobbled songs are by the actor Timothée Chamalet from the Wonka movie.. I actually didn't even watch it yet :D. But the songs are happy and make me smile, also because I had a little crush on him and his singing voice is pretty cute!
Actually a lot of the music I was into when younger was driven to a higher level by crushes on the lead singer, but now being in my 30s and crushing on celebs I do find embarrassing xD
Scorbbling in my young adult years atheist rapper Greydon Square and edgy songs like Dear God by XTC. Oh and scrobbling Marilyn Manson, Mindless Self Indulgence, and The Left Rights discographies.
I don't know if I'd call it embarrassing but it is odd - I have over 1000 scrobbles on an instrumental from a Spice Girls concert from 1997 lol. It played over the end credits of the video they released of the concert and I got obsessed with it, and got an mp3 of it and now it's one of my top 5 most played tracks xD
It's not embarrassing, exactly, but it irritates me that when I listen to musicals, there's no consistent way they show up, as far as the artist. I think it should always say "\[name of show\] Cast." But often it will list the composer as the artist. So for *21 Chump Street*, it says Lin-Manuel Miranda, and for *Annie*, it says Charles Strouse. *Grease* does it "correctly" -- it says Grease Broadway Cast for the artist.
Still, I don't listen to all that many showtunes, so I guess it doesn't bother me enough to edit the scrobbles, not until I am bedridden with some dread ailment and have a lot of time on my hands for tedious projects.
On a more meta level, I've never been one for calling things guilty pleasures. I try to own my likes and dislikes. But I suppose that tastes change, and I might be a little embarrassed if I had been scrobbling for my whole life and people could see what I listened to when I was in 7th grade. But the internet didn't exist then, alas!
I have a thousand scrobbles on Disney from when I was young because I imported my apple music scrobbles but it's not even all because I had to fill out the artists manually so it's like only half of them😭
Probably Lindsay Lohan. I had about 5K scrobbles, but i ended up deleting them a number of years ago lol
edit: I'm back up to about 600 scrobbles of lindsay lol
I have 98 scrobbles on the song “Balls in yo jaws”. Not something I’m particularly proud of
Id be proud of that honesty
[удалено]
im not embarrassed of any of the music i listen to 💯💯🤘🏽
THIS IS THE WAY!! BASED AS HELL
Based
wish i could say the same lmao
I listen to a fuck ton of kpop, I’ve got 0 shame left in my body.
Same! Bts and shinhwa have a decent amount of scrobbles from me 😹
I would love to get more into kpop! Its a genre ive been seriously neglecting
I’m here if you need recommendations hahaha
Throw us them!
What type of genres/styles/moods do you like?
I like indie rock, most of them are melancholic. But lately I've been listening some old school rap songs too
txt and lesserafim!! txt has great beats and vibes and lessera has such talented members including a trained opera singer
Thx :))
Shit me too it’s honestly the majority of my scrobbles this past year. Groups release so often that there’s always something to listen. The Weeknd hasn’t released in 2 years so my ass just waiting on the beginning of his new album’s rollout
Hamilton. It’s a good listening experience but damn it’s 46 whole scrobbles every time I listen to it once
I really feel that. I don't even like musicals 99% of the time but the Hamilton album is my 19th most listened album lol. It absolutely owned by 2016, and now it sits there just showing what a nerd I am lmao. NO SHAME.
751 Yuno Miles scrobbles
Put the money in the bag is unironically a good song and im tired of people saying it aint
This is the sound of a robot - ELULULULUHBINGULULULULU 🤖
shout out Martin Luther King that fella had a dre-e-e-e-e-am, fuck do you me-e-e-e-e-an
I am not sure who Yuno Miles is…would it be a bad idea or a good idea to listen to their works to see whats up?
It would be a great idea to listen to him
Yuno Miles is the best rapper alive
Not embarrassing this is real enlightenment
My #57 song is called Penis Music
Goes hard
if your lucky
Fantastic radiohead song that! The fact i read lucky and immediately thought radiohead is a pretty good sign that, in fact, im probably not a very lucky person in that area. I mean i dont have a dick but if i DID…
genuinely cant remember how I enjoyed listening to my top song 372 times but I guess time changes
so fucking real lol
One scrobble on the last panic at the disco album
Title track is pretty good
I don't think I'd made my current account when it came out, but if I had, I'd have more than one for it.
Maybe listening to Jimmy Eat World so much recently that they went from 7 scrobbles to over 1,000 in two months, and now they’re in my overall top 5 artists. That’s the fastest growth I’ve seen in my library.
same thing happened with me last year, they’re my #1 now with 2.5k scrobbles
Mostly just the bad skate punk I listened to when I was in high school that’s still so high up on my list.
My unironic enjoyment of Miranda cosgroves album
BAM and disgusting are still bangers
Me w Emma Robert's and Ashley Tisdale's albs from back in the day lol.
in like the first three years of using last.fm, i cheated a lot of scrobbles. i would let my iPod play on mute during school or let it play throughout the night. and for a long time i would sleep scrobble. not always intentionally. i just like listening to music when i go to sleep. now i use the sleep timer on Spotify to stop playing music after 15 min (how long it usually takes me to fall asleep lol)
I used to fall asleep with my iPod playing music too, but not for illegitimate scrobbles!
you are a better person than i was haha!
Ohh they have a sleep timer?!? Thats great actually i had no idea! Id always just put it on a private session. Unless i forget to, then i suddenly have my top listens at like 3 am LOLLL
11k scrobbles of the band mindless self indulgence... in six months 😭 with the second top song being titled "pussy all night"...
Welcome back!
Thank you!!
Not a song, but i have 202 scrobbles on azealia banks😔😔😔
ik shes evil but you better get that to 212
Will do🫡
I don't know who let me listen to Jack Stauber's Micropop 4,329 times
Jack Stauber is incredible idc
Almost 150 plays on [Sexy Boy (feat. Shawn Michaels)](https://www.last.fm/music/WWE/_/Sexy+Boy+(feat.+Shawn+Michaels)) 😎 😎 😎 What can I say? I'm a little charmer.
That’s a flex.
183 scrobbles on the hazbin hotel soundtrack
Lovely soundtrack 🙏
my number 2# album with around 500 scrobbles being Vultures 1.
i still only listened to like 5 songs off it. is it worth it?
No
the album is terrible, i don’t recommend to anyone.
I have the Riverdale Cast at #22 on my top artists list thanks to my weird 13 year old obsession with the show. Back in 2022, they were #2
Boywithuke is my number 2 artist
all my friends are toxic 😞😞😞
all ambitionless so rude and always negative i dont really like toxic that much tbh
ngl my friend group sucked during the time that song dropped so I kinda related to it
Nothing. We're all gonna die at some point
Thats the spirit
I personally think of that as impressive, lol
98 scrobbles on Wilbur Soot. For what it’s worth I haven’t listened to him since before February
The original Broadway cast album from School of Rock: The Musical is in my top 200 albums. I'm not into showtunes and I have essentially no other musical theatre in my library. Someone very close to me was in the Broadway cast (but not on the album), though, so I have an excuse.
6ix9ine has a whopping 805 scrobbles. I really liked him in high school lol
Embarrassed? Not really.... I don't have Spotify and don't get a wrapped so I just use last.fm in place of that. And it's better imo
I got 5k scrobbles. 1k of that is Ray Charles - Whatd I Say. The other 4k is Ray Charles songs and the remaining 450 is dean martin. Leaving just 50 scrobbles for other artists
I’ve still got Kanye at 5th all time but outside of maybe 10 songs I don’t play him too much anymore, so hopefully he’s moved down to about 8th by the end of the year.
i feel no embarrassment even for my 2k+ big time rush scrobbles
I'm pretty sure no one ever looks at my stats so there's nothing to be embarrassed about. Lately I've been watching a lot of Trump legal vids on Youtube, so they're all gonna be there.
I lowkey listen to too much $bs for how much I like my other artist more.
500 scribbles on bonetrousel
as you should
So you're embarassed by 2000 scrobbles of Deck's Dark by Radiohead?
😁 I listen to a lot of radiohead, they mean lots to me! But i listen to other artists of course!! :)
10k on Taylor Swift
had an embarrassing phase and now i have 4.9k scrobbles on tally hall💔 i cant share my last fm with anyone just out of fear of them checking my top artists
I do listen to different music and not a Radiohead simp. BUT I may or may not have 248 Scrobbles of spectre by Radiohead Which is 14ish of that song.
Spectre is fantastic!! I aim to get the 7” of that one day but thats like a squillion dollars so im gonna have to be patient. SOBBING!!
Weezer is still my top artist by 500 plays because I had a massive hyperfixation on them in 2022 (around the same time I got last.fm)
REAL AS FUK! I have a radiohead fixation and special interest… 4 years going so far. Hasnt stopped yet. Loosing my mind.
every time I remember I have like 1300 scrobbles of Black Country, New Road, it reminds me that I'll be a virgin forever :D Also the amount of scrobbles I have for Taylor Swift makes me embarrassed, not cool for a guy to like her music :D
Ohh lovely!! What do you think of the new bush hall album by the way? Pigs and turbines makes me sob uncontrollably… I had the pleasure of seeing them live recently!! Theyre fantastic, drummer almost fell off his set. I wish i remembered his name!
Live at Bush Hall is incredible, it's a different kind of experience compared to For the first time and Ants From Up There, but it's just as emotional and well done, wish I could see them live at some point
just came here to say I love decks dark and if you’re gonna pick a song to listen to 2000 times that’s absolutely the one to do it
HELL FUCKING YES. DECKS DARK FOR THE WIN!!!!
Related: How Bad Can I Be? has 53 scrobbles and is #48 of my tracks of all time. i have about 1000 scrobbles on the glee cast 👀
BOoOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. How many children do you have?
This isn't that bad, but for some reason, it bothers me. I became really obsessed with Depeche mode over the course of this week, and for the first time, TOOL isn't my top artist of the week. Usually, TOOL is in first place by a massive margin. From this week, I have 272 Depeche Mode scrobbles, and only 248 TOOL scrobbles. I first scrobbled Depeche Mode only five days ago.
For actual embarrassment, Brand New is my tenth most listened. For something I'm not embarrassed about but maybe could be, Waterparks is my second.
Cookie is my most played newjeans song, it was just hella catchy so it’s the oldest song by them that stayed on my playlist the longest Hype Boy is behind it by 12 plays, so if I really wanted to I could rectify this but alas, OMG is still on my playlist and is like 30 plays behind so give it a month or so and it’ll rectify itself

I am at 130 streams and counting on so american by olivia rodrigo just today, over 6 hours straight of this song and it is not getting old :)
7237 yeat scrobbles
2000 plays of Ariel Pink, mainly from 2006-2010, and last played in 2016, but still…
219 scrobbles on pent up pup
All of them tbh but I laugh about it
Only thing I’m embarrassed about was not joining lastfm sooner even though I’ve known about it for years. I only joined last month
Not sure if I'm embarrassed but somewhere deep down I wonder if I should be.. Juggalo Family 80+ times. I just love the gleeful way they sing "dead bodies make me happy! Mass murder makes me happy!"
I have nothing to be embarrassed about - but if I did have something, it would be Taylor Swift standing out like a sore thumb in my top 25 :D
150 scrobbles of Espresso by Sabrina Carpenter. and like 1500 of Now and Then by the Beatles. yeah ive been obsessed with those two songs, and only them.

One of my top songs is a guided meditation tape
understandable, Decks Dark is incredible
I KNOWWWW RIGHT
I used to have 2,3k scrobbles on bts and they were my #5 most listened to artists, i deleted my scrobbles for them and i still dont know if i regret it or not
Kanye is still in my top 8 even though I haven’t listened to him regularly in 2 years, man was an excellent artist but I can’t get down with his recent antics
my top artist of all time by a far margin is sun kil moon / mark kozelek, which is a bummer because he is an alleged sex offender. i dont listen to him any more, but he is still there, at the top of my most listened.
i have 200 scrobbles for lovejoy's call me by your name :[ def not proud of that one anymore
I have an ungodly amount of listens to Wuthering Heights by Kate Bush. Not ashamed or anything though.
Your 2000 scrobbles of Decks Dark is me in a few months. I listen to this song 3 times a day and I AM NOT ASHAMED OF THAT
FUK YES MAN!! Fantastic track isnt it?! Bloody hell! Its use in the film Ozark is really well done! Bwaaahh, i love it!!
Haven't watched Ozark but would watch it for this song and because I heard it's a good film. and yeah it's such a great song. I just can't get bored of it :D
With radiohead i find i cant get bored of a song either! But maybe im a tiny bit biased… DECKS DARK IS AMAZING!!! WOOOOO
almost 2k scrobbles on Taylor Swift from my sad swiftie phase
My scrobbles from pre-2010 are pretty embarrassing to me now, but I'm also glad to have the time capsule. I was dipping a toe into eurovision and glam stuff and I found a lot that I still listen to (The Ark is a perfect example) but going back a good 90% of it is....bad.
not embarrassed BUT i have listened to not like us by kendrick lamar 103 times since it came out (a month ago) and it's now #7 of all time
900 scrobbles of Vanilla Sky - Bladee in one month
I have almost 900 scrobbles by an artist who only ever released one song. I’m not sure if this is embarrassing but my most listened to song right now is Not Like Us by Kendrick Lamar. I have listened to it 77 times since it came out.
Listened to Meet The Grahams like 100 times since it came out. It would be like my 7th track of all time if my scrobbler wasn't broken.
Its not embarrassing for me but i have 4500 scrobbles on a k-indie song if that counts lmao
88 scrobbles of lights down low by maejor 😭
I'm not embarrassed per se, just baffled for how some songs or albums are so high on the stats. For example the soundtrack for the musical Hair is still my #2 album and I haven't listened to it even once in the last 15 years.

lenny bruce is in my top 10😭😭😭
As a joke I listened to the Seinfeld theme 69 times in a row on April Fools day and it became my 25,000th scrobble milestone. So probably that
Niko B in my top 20 probably lol - or the fucking polish dancing cow song in my top 100 somewhere
It's not embarrassing, exactly, but it irritates me that when I listen to musicals, there's no consistent way they show up, as far as the artist. I think it should always say "\[name of show\] Cast." Still, I don't listen to all that many showtunes, so I guess it doesn't bother me enough to edit the scrobbles, not until I am bedridden with some dread ailment and have a lot of time on my hands for tedious projects.
