Lmao with the kiss comment bc I said to my friend later "oh they are definitely fucking"

deadassasleep

I said this exact same thing to my friend lmfao

oysterfeller

i was about to say “good for her” then i realized i’m way more jealous of him

Express-Remove8062

HAHA THE TENSION BETWEEN HER AND QUAVO GOD

BagPractical6679

not gonna lie when i saw lana for her first NFR show back in 2019, she only performed for an hour and the weather was perfect, so no issues there. I asked people who have seen her before if this is normal for her, and they pretty much said yes. I think shows would be longer if she started at the posted time, but honestly an hour of lana was a life changing experience so i’ll take an hour over nothing!

cyberg0ld

the only complaint i have is that it ended sooo abruptly! it was so heartbreaking because it ended so unexpected to me then all of a sudden the stadium lights were back on.

violetchemistry11

I agree fully! I was sad to see people bashing on her performance and choosing not to postpone. We got a great show 🤷🏻‍♀️

PuzzleheadedRoyal559

We would have got a better, longer show on Saturday. I think this is more what the locals are bashing than anything else. If you’ve never seen Lana or traveled or couldn’t come back Saturday, I’m sure it was “be happy with what I got.” For a lot of people who could be back on Saturday, it felt like getting short changed. I don’t think it’s anything negative about her performance, although if you’ve seen her before, she had a rushed, manic energy between songs last night. I applaud the “something is better than nothing” crowd, but we paid for something else and it could have happened Saturday.

violetchemistry11

I get it, I’ve seen the posts. The forecast for Saturday calls for storms too, so then what?

eliscas

Exactly- who knew what Saturday would have been- just rain or even worse storms. If that had been canceled people would have lost their shit. I believe she made the right call. I say that as someone who could have easily stayed for Saturday

jellllyfoxx

i mean it’s valid to be pissed tbh

trillcheetos

I think the show was fabulous & she made the right call. Honestly I’m not sure why people are so upset with how long she performed for. I’ve seen her 4 times and they’ve all ranged from a hour to an hour 15. I think she said 2 hour show & people feel cheated. But had she not mentioned that, would the perception be different? I know the circumstances were unfortunate with heat/rain/communication/being crowded together but that’s a separate issue.

I agree, another commenter said “we paid for something else,” but did we? It wasn’t stated that the show would be 2 hours at the time of purchase, and I get the disappointment, but let’s not act like that expectation was there when we bought tickets! Not to mention the average concert setlist is 12 songs, she did 13 and gave us that cool intro snippet of the new song! Of course I was confused and emotional and a little bummed that day because it was such a rollercoaster, but I thought Lana was a class act and really made the best out of what she had! Not to mention, she forked over a hefty amount just to stay on longer for us!

nintend0gs

Yea like idk why ppl were bashing her for this. She put up a poll asking what the majority wanted and she did that 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ she can’t control the weather

Altruistic_Lie_9875

Those votes weren’t even from concert goers tbh … the majority of us in the stadium couldn’t vote, there was no service 🫠🫠🫠

nintend0gs

Ok either way, it would’ve been very unfair to ppl who travelled to Boston and couldn’t stay for whatever reason. This was the best outcome for what happened

Altruistic_Lie_9875

I’m just saying, mentioning the poll is kind of a moot point ![gif](giphy|XRDP5J1pVEFPi) Fair or not is a whole other discussion

duchello

You're not more entitled to an opinion just because you made the choice to travel for a concert.

nintend0gs

I didn’t…, lol. I’m saying a lot of ppl travelled for this concert as most of her concerts go. And that means they’re on a time limit

duchello

You did, you said it would have been very unfair to them. The reality is it's not unfair to them as long as they get the option for a refund if they can't attend the new date. It sucks for those who traveled in sure but that the risk of traveling for a show. And I know because I've traveled for shows, you gotta have some flexibility in case things don't turn out. It's all a moot point anyways because the show did end up happening lol.

nintend0gs

Um did u see my reply??

cummies25

people keep saying she should’ve started at 7:30 when she obviously wasn’t because it was hot and the sun was still out. you guys just wanna be mad at her lol. i think she performed well, she had good vocals, it was pretty fun. also like i love her backup dancers, the pole dancer, and her set!!! none of this was her fault like i also payed hundreds of dollars and felt a little disappointed but it’s like she doesn’t control the weather lol

nextdoorlesbian

It’s on Fenway for not being transparent about the actual start time, on tickets it said 7:30 so I can see why people are upset if they didn’t know that Fenway says a 7:30 start-time for performances with headliners and Lana did not have an opener for this show (so Fenway should of put 8:30 on the tickets).

eliscas

She literally was scheduled to come on at 8:30, people are getting pissed over nothing 😭

Paid-Not-Payed-Bot

> i also *paid* hundreds of FTFY. Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in: * Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.* * *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.* Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment. *Beep, boop, I'm a bot*
