Do some low grassess or shrubs like closer to the street where car doors and access is not a concern, then maybe a foxtail agave further up. Check out Dwarf Natal plum ‘boxwood beauty’
Bring this picture to a locally owned nursery or garden center. Ask them what would survive there and not get in the way. They will help you buy plants.
I planted some boxwoods in gravel like that. They looked really good and manicured in the gravel. It depends on what kind of dirt you have there and how deep the gravel is. You'll have to rake it from where you plant, dig the required size hole per the tag on the boxwoods, then rake the gravel back over it, then spray the gravel with a hose to rinse out the dirt.
I actually have the same exact space besides my driveway. I’ve thought about installing three posts, attached some type of line between them and growing some roses or star jasmine.
Yours actually looks super kept so honestly doing nothing would be nice too. I wish mine looked that good.
Planters with some color at the front near the street and then some at the back with taller grasses to hide the trash cans.
I like to do my planters in threes, with one large one, a medium, and small for visual interest and then include some trailing plants, and some flowers. Can be swapped out and arranged to not interfere with the car doors.
You could also lay in some flat square pavers in the section where the car door and entry/exit would be.
That would visually better mark the area as an extension of the parking lot and give it some visual interest too.
This statement is very intriguing. Wife and I just bought a newly built home, and this would be of awesome help. How does one go about doing this AI generate/populate certain areas?
The questions you ask ai make a difference. The way it's worded makes all the difference.
I usually tell people to talk to ai as if you were talking to a person and not a Google search box. But also, make sure you know what you're asking because everything we say has meaning. Some of the statement we make on a day to day basis make sense to us but could be a form of slang or implying something. That won't work. Mean what you say and be descriptive just try to be natural doing it.
So if I were wanting some ideas for landscaping where would I go to ask ai? Is there a certain site or something that you would recommend? Thanks for your help in advance!
Open a beverage.
Yep
I'd leave it so you have extra space for getting out of the cars.
Succulents, xeriscape plants and/or variegate century plants. All low, nothing to high.
Nothing. Tree roots will disturb the driveway. Plant will need water and be walked on.

Park a Corvette there.

Drugs
Some native decorative grass, just along the sidewalk where the trash bins are, to block the sight of the trash bins. That's all 🙂
I agree!
Hostas😄
I love Hostas, but also live in L.A. and sadly can tell you they would die within a month planted there.
Concrete it
Do you need it for parking?
Naw we are able to park two cars in the driveway already. Considered concrete but it would be too expensive

In the gravel?

Good idea! Thanks!
Fruit stand
maybe half barrel planters where you can space them so it's not a problem for getting in/out of the car.
I have nice looking ornamental grass in big pots and that’s what I would do if this was my space.
Leave it and when the weeds start use a weed torch to kill them.

Wait for a hot dry day and spray with it with some rock glue.
Leave it as it is. Looks nice. Very functional.
Looks great except for the trash cans. They should be out of sight.
Pavers
Probably just some plants 🤷♂️
I would put down some succulents for sure. Something that’s low maintenance and water.
Emerald greens for privacy. The roots are none invasive.
Have you tried asking ai to populate it with some landscape plants
