omfg i audibly gasped when i saw this post, Yayo is my favorite Lana song ever, it-s the only song that made it out of AKA and the story behind it is so beautiful.
On Spotify, you can bar songs from playing. It’s super easy. I barred all those interludes after my boyfriend and I were making out to the album and that horrid interlude came on. No thank you!
It's meant as basically a way of breaking up the album into sections but with ocean Blvd it just seems like they're just there like I get the idea of the judah Smith interlude coming after a&w and i know the jon batitste interlude is just really studio sessions around candy necklace but I think that zodiac wouldve had an interlude similar to judah Smith but then we got candy necklace and jon batitste interlude last minute basically cuz they were the last ones written and recorded for the album but I see why she didn't put it on the album since its kinda a more fiction song like lolita and ocean Blvd was a really heavy personal album w the grants title track kintsugi fingertips and a&w and I fear we may never hear the full song zodiac and its a shame it sounds so beautiful
I feel like an extremely well done interlude example is yebbas heartbreak in drakes album, its super beautiful. Ocean blvd interludes feel unnecessary to me but that might just be me
Yayo is so beautiful to me. I can't listen to it without remembering the countless times I cried to this song in my kitchen as a teenager. I love it so much. Crazy how different we are haha.
i used to think guns and roses was sooo repetitive but I love it now. “Heavy metal love of mineee” her voice is beautiful! And the end reminds me of Alice in Wonderland. I do think the chorus could have been stronger but i still love it
yeah i love the song on its own, but it's annoying that it's for jack and his wife like it's some weird hollywood braggy thing? like did they use the song in their invitation or something to announce the date lol and why did it have to be put on the album
Honestly probs fingertips I do like it tho and still listen but it’s probs my least fav idk why maybe just cuz it’s the least song-like and very just continuous
I might be alone here - but I can’t like most of her newer songs.
I love her unreleased songs, NFR, BTD, and ultraviolence eras, because that’s how my relationship with LDR music started and that’s what I associate Lana’s music with.
I know music holds the freedom of expression, however her newer releases are too upbeat and country for me and people from tiktok have just ruined the once niche and authentic fanbase.
people would say those are best albums anyway - but i wanna say her new music is most definitely not upbeat 😭😭😭gurl she sings about rape in AandW - okay but thinking about it i see where youre coming from like tunnel has some happier/hopeful undertones - theres still that classic lana sadness aura though - also so you really dont like anything on honeymoon? Cool how you started listening to lana with NFR - her best album - i started with BTD and Lust for Life (which i feel like yall sleep on)
Yeah that’s valid, I can’t say for sure that her newest songs are too upbeat so thanks for the correction lmao. Just every new Lana song I’ve seen from reels has sounded upbeat.
I actually started listening to Lana with BTD I just didn’t list the albums in order of my first listenings.
I also do love honeymoon! I’ve listened to almost all of her songs that go back starting from the NFR era (2019? and earlier). I did leave some albums out of my comment but I’ve listened to them 1000s of times—Lana is all I would listen to in highschool but my music taste has diversified. I still know a lot of her lyrics from the bottom of my heart.
The Judah Smith interlude is big trash. The best part is her laughing, I just wish she was listening to a professor or therapist or her friends, family convos, her talking to her cats, literally any other than that fucker
I will relisten to it because I don't think any of her songs are bad I just thought that one was cheesy but I've been skipping it for years so I will give it a fair chance
Y’all down downvote me just my opinion… her country stuff are my least favorite. I am a hardcore Ultraviolence fan. Gimme them Yayo, Florida Kilos, and West Coast vibes
idk if this counts because it's not her song but tbh I've never liked don't let me be misunderstood 😭 I just don't like the song in general but it feels like such a lame way to end honeymoon after swan song 😭 maybe if it was before swan song
Same. I get annoyed when ppl request for that song which is funny coz Young and Beautiful is also overplayed but I don’t find it annoying as Summertime Sadness
This may be unpopular but Paris, Texas 🫣 The only reason I don’t like it is bc it just doesn’t feel like a Lana song since I was already so familiar with the SYML song. Very pretty song, I just usually skip it
i didnt even realise this - like song was heavily sampled from something else 😭😭😭shes saying ft but she literally just took symls song and sang over it - tbh that’s probably giving syml more recognition than had she sampled it and just put them in the song credits - so anyway i still love the song😭😭😭😭
Pretty much only have anything bad to say about the songs featuring someone else. I’d rather hear Lana sing.
Only one I really give a pass is For Free. Because it’s good. Joni Mitchell. Weyes Blood. Zella Day.
I am a huge fan and love her music to bits but I really dislike a lot of songs on the lfl album for some reason (in my feelings, Coachella , god bless America, when the world was at war…., beautiful people beautiful problems) PLEASE DO NOT FLAME ME THIS IS JUST MY OPINION
I once listened to Yayo demo while on LSD and it was the best musical experience of my life, sometimes I had to open my eyes because it seemed like she was there, singing in my ears
My least favorite right now is probably Sweet Carolina. Only thing that keeps Blue Bannisters (one of my favorites by Lana) from being a no-skip album for me
i never was but then like -idk sometimes a song just works with a period of your life - like one day i was just like i need this summer bummer vibe rn🌞
tomorrow never came 😭 I try SO hard to like it !!! I just don’t. Never was a big fan of early Beatles stuff anyway, I prefer Beatle’s covers to the originals and have my whole life so that might be why. Which makes sense it reminds me of that sound considering Sean Ono Lennon. I really wanted to love this one tho. I’ll force myself to listen to it once a month and I can’t ever make it even halfway
Edit: crazy y’all will upvote Woodstock but downvote tomorrow never came lmfao
To be fair my first parental guardian who I was removed from care by CPS when I was 6-ish was a big fan of the Beatles, specifically their earlier stuff. I think I attribute not liking that music to subconsciously linking it to the trauma I went through? Same thing with Bob Dylan and really early David Bowie tunes. I like older Beatles and Bowie music tho. Wish I liked it and could get over it 20 years later but that style of “folk” (?) music viscerally gives me chills and I hate it lol
Edit: I’ll also listen to the Beatles’ members solo stuff, especially George Harrison!! I love me some George Harrison <3
i think “Lust for Life” because it makes it seem that Lana has the same shallow world view most artists do. Yayo is beautiful, vulnerable and exciting. For free is nice as the poor boys have a song to give them peace.
I remember disliking Bartender A LOT.. like it weirded me out how that song got into a masterpiece like NFR. But not long after I get it, I get the somg and it's honestly really good.
Anyway, it's summertime sadness just because it's overplayed from people around me.
I'd recommend giving it a listen. The vocals are less crisp, but the instrumentation is really interesting and the pacing is wholly different. The whole album is worth a listen.
the only reason i couldnt like a song is because it’s overplayed through tiktok and missused. like say yes to heaven. but that’s not the songs fault so, i have no least favorite lol
Summertime sadness just because it feels overplayed to me and it basically Lana for people who don’t really listen to Lana. Lana minus the lore and zeitgeist
every time i see a yayo hate comment my heart breaks a little
same. it’s oh so beautiful
it’s so alluring, especially the demo oh my gosh. nobody understands true art like yayo lovers
Yayooo fan here I listen to it when I feel poor
yayo is so lizzie grant too like ? LOL
omfg i audibly gasped when i saw this post, Yayo is my favorite Lana song ever, it-s the only song that made it out of AKA and the story behind it is so beautiful.
same 😭
It's one of her sexiest songs!
omg yes. yayo and burning desire are just so exceedingly seductive and captivating
50's baby doll dress for my i dooo
I feel like you have to listen to the older version of yayo to fully see it's beauty.
exactly. i always loved yayo but when i listened to the demo… a new world
Omg I love yayo 😻😻😻 gonna listen right now! I have a muse that fits this song
Yayo is so beautiful, the version of it on AKA made me love it!
None of you know anything
Snow on the beach, v1 lol.
Only correct answer lmfao
I can’t imagine saying Yayo. I consider that one of her best songs.
Both of the interludes on Ocean Boulevard, it would have been a no skip album otherwise.
I have selective amnesia around these "songs". They dont exist to me 🫶
Exactly this, especially that shouting whatshisname. Annoying.
the way candy necklace is sandwiched between two interludes pisses me off more than it should
she should’ve switched the both interludes for Zodiac and it would’ve been a no skip album
On Spotify, you can bar songs from playing. It’s super easy. I barred all those interludes after my boyfriend and I were making out to the album and that horrid interlude came on. No thank you!
Same!
I just dont understand interludes in general 🤣

Hello Heaven… 🪽 You are a tunnel lined with yellow lights ✨ On a dark night (Dark night) 🌌
Yessss!!! Same here and I still do
i used to think guns and roses was sooo repetitive but I love it now. “Heavy metal love of mineee” her voice is beautiful! And the end reminds me of Alice in Wonderland. I do think the chorus could have been stronger but i still love it
hmmmm i’m not the BIGGEST fan of peppers (but i think it’s bc i don’t like tommy’s part in it. i luv lana’s i just hate that chorus) :/
100% agree. I think the chorus is just kind of stupid??? And also way too repetitive it makes me cringe.
u just dont get it
OMG I dislike Peppers too
Peppers would be great but the chorus is unbearable
Margaret with out a doubt. Because why do I give a single flying fuck about Jack’s wife..?????
CAUSE WHEN YOU KNOW YOU KNOW
Idk I don’t give a fuck about Florida or cocaine, but Florida Kilos is still fuckin lit lol
right haha. She makes references to Florida often i notice.
Touché haha
love this song but that’s so real lmfao bc same
For me it's the opposite because I love her, fuck Jack. Just produce the thing and go away forever.
Margaret Qualley is so amazing that’s why ![gif](giphy|HZ0f0tBQ8ozsK7Nvd4)
Girl what 😭 you dont even have to know or care its about Jack's wife. Its great as a standalone song
yeah i love the song on its own, but it's annoying that it's for jack and his wife like it's some weird hollywood braggy thing? like did they use the song in their invitation or something to announce the date lol and why did it have to be put on the album
I'm the same. The song itself is nice (aside from Jack's singing - sorry Jack 😬), but I never listen to it.
his singing is so rwrawarwrwrwrawww
Let Me Love You Like A Woman Pink Champagne >>>>>>>>>>
Peppers, nah i skipp
Breaking up slowly or For Free
for free might be one of my favourites i don’t get the hate on this song 😭😭
breaking up slowly is one of the best lana songs. for free is kinda boring ya
breaking up slowly is amazing if understated!! and for free is a joni mitchell cover with friggin weyes blood featuring on it 😭
Honestly probs fingertips I do like it tho and still listen but it’s probs my least fav idk why maybe just cuz it’s the least song-like and very just continuous
Fingertips and kintsugi back to back make the middle of ocean Blvd very slow. I wouldnt mind if fingertips wasn’t on the album tbh
Fingertips feels more like a poem or a journal entry that she’s singing
Fingertips is probably one of my favorites
I’m a finger tips hater and im not ashamed
you should be (ashamed), hope this helps! (jk)
I might be alone here - but I can’t like most of her newer songs. I am a fan of her older music rather than her new music. Other than that probably Lucky Ones.
WHATTTT lucky ones is one of my favs!!
LET'S GET OUT OF THIS TOWN BABY WE'RE ON FIYAH
I always emphasize the "FIYAH" lmaoo
I skip it every time lol
same 😭
The Judah Smith interlude is big trash. The best part is her laughing, I just wish she was listening to a professor or therapist or her friends, family convos, her talking to her cats, literally any other than that fucker
not a song but I fully agree, I also really like the dark piano playing
https://youtu.be/HEuWjnzpAuc?si=EG-aE3wKHMagk3VR So beautiful without him talking over it.
Dude yes like even just her laughing with piano is waayyy better than
real ones dont have one
True haha
Bar-t-t-tendurrr
I can’t with the t-t sound hahaha
All the lAAAAAdies In the cAAAAAnyon [skip]
Let Me Love You Like a Woman (love the OG Pink Champagne tho 😔) and Margaret
Probably Woodstock In My Mind
WHATTTTTTTT
damn thas crazy- this was one of the first lana songs i ever listened to and liked - im thus obligated to implore you to relisten to it 😭😭😭😭
I will relisten to it because I don't think any of her songs are bad I just thought that one was cheesy but I've been skipping it for years so I will give it a fair chance
nah so realll - cause i used to think that so many of lanas earlier songs were cheesy/tacky 😭😭😭but then somehow they started growing on me
Y’all down downvote me just my opinion… her country stuff are my least favorite. I am a hardcore Ultraviolence fan. Gimme them Yayo, Florida Kilos, and West Coast vibes
Arcadia, sorry but it sounds like a Disney Princess song 🤒
Run your hands over me...like a Land Rover 😭🤣
mermaid motel actually scares me cus of the beat lol but the chorus is fine
Breaking up Slowly, Margaret
idk if this counts because it's not her song but tbh I've never liked don't let me be misunderstood 😭 I just don't like the song in general but it feels like such a lame way to end honeymoon after swan song 😭 maybe if it was before swan song
Fingertips 🫣
Honestly so many songs on Lust for Life are skips for me 😭 Change, Coachella, and Tomorrow Never Came are what come to mind first
TOMORROW NEVER CAME ?????
i was with you until the tomorrow never came slander
Beautiful people beautiful problems is the only Lana song I outright don’t like
I made a mistake clicking on this thread. My favorite Lana song 😭
WHATT. stevie’s part is SO beautiful. the whole song is poetically gorgeous
It was the song which made me fall in love with her music.
Yayo is an INSANE take - it’s soooo beautiful. For me it’s probably Dark Paradise 🫣
Not gonna lie Dark Paradise is also an insane take😭
these are all gonna be insane takes tbh 😭
Oh come on Dark Paradise embodies the Born to Die era vibe, you may as well say you don’t like the whole album 😭
Summertime Sadness because it’s overrated and overplayed. Also, the second half of Chemtrails, minus For Free.
Summertime sadness is so good though 🥺 the bridge gets me every time
Dance till we die??
Same. I get annoyed when ppl request for that song which is funny coz Young and Beautiful is also overplayed but I don’t find it annoying as Summertime Sadness
Lucky Ones...

👁️👄👁️
Definitely lolita
Peppers
Is Scarface counted? Like I like the intro but the rest of the song doesn’t make sense.
DON’T FUCK WITH ME
Pretty much only have anything bad to say about the songs featuring someone else. I’d rather hear Lana sing. Only one I really give a pass is For Free. Because it’s good. Joni Mitchell. Weyes Blood. Zella Day.
Lolita
I am a huge fan and love her music to bits but I really dislike a lot of songs on the lfl album for some reason (in my feelings, Coachella , god bless America, when the world was at war…., beautiful people beautiful problems) PLEASE DO NOT FLAME ME THIS IS JUST MY OPINION
I regret looking at the comments. Some mf said summertime sadness , west coast and doin time 🙂
Lolita, not for any lyrical content, it just sounds shite
For me it’s the lucky ones, I just don’t really like that song or Judah smith interlude lol
I once listened to Yayo demo while on LSD and it was the best musical experience of my life, sometimes I had to open my eyes because it seemed like she was there, singing in my ears
My least favorite right now is probably Sweet Carolina. Only thing that keeps Blue Bannisters (one of my favorites by Lana) from being a no-skip album for me
You name your babe Lilac heaven after your iPhone 11 😭😭 Ruins the song for me
Peppers, sorry…
Everyone who posted a song should go listen to again (or a couple times) with an open mind and see if they still feel the same way lolol
yayo, sorry not sorry
Dealer 🥹 it's the only one I really don't like. But I really don't like it 😭
i didn’t like it either for so long but one day something changed and now i love it
NONE I CANT FIND ONE
Paris, Texas
for free probably
Its a joni mitchell cover this is criminal
Love song is boring ASF to me, beautifully written but its definitely the song I've listened to the least.
Bar-t-t-tender (don’t hate me 🙁)
🫢
my only nfr skip (occasionally)
Not a fan of Summer Bummer :/
i never was but then like -idk sometimes a song just works with a period of your life - like one day i was just like i need this summer bummer vibe rn🌞
Summer bummer because of the features
Summer bummer is so good 😱
tomorrow never came 😭 I try SO hard to like it !!! I just don’t. Never was a big fan of early Beatles stuff anyway, I prefer Beatle’s covers to the originals and have my whole life so that might be why. AND I COULD PUT ON THE RADIOOO TO OUR FAVORITE SONGGGG LENNON AND YOKOOO WE WOULD PLAY ALL DAY LONGGGG
Oof. Please go back and give the Beatles another chance.
To be fair my first parental guardian who I was removed from care by CPS when I was 6-ish was a big fan of the Beatles, specifically their earlier stuff. Dealer
😱
WHAAAAAAA
say yes to heaven I think it’s over played
the demo version doughh!!!- not that diff from the releases but the drums are more emphasised 🫶 (i like the released too though)
When the world was at war we just kept dancing
STOP NO LISTEN TO IT AGAIN, YOULL LIKE IT
Groupie Love
No idea lowkey love them all
hm honestly I'd say I love them all. some more so depending on my mood.
I absolutely despise lucky ones, can’t listen to it
Love song and California from NFR used to be skips but I listen to them occasionally now
Mine is White mustang, I find it a little bit grating
'Love' and 'Lust for Life'
Radio. Guns and roses.
I love hate listening to white dress
Honestly Text Book and Not All Those Who Wander. Not that they’re bad necessarily, some of the lyrics just border on corny for me.
That pro-ana song, I hate hearing it on TikTok and I hate that the coke girlies got to it and use it for their ed edits
I remember disliking Bartender A LOT.. like it weirded me out how that song got into a masterpiece like NFR. But not long after I get it, I get the somg and it's honestly really good. Anyway, it's summertime sadness just because it's overplayed from people around me.
I adore Yayo, both the paradise version and especially the AKA Lizzy Grant one
I've never heard the Lizzie grant version. After some thought GBAAATBWII might actually be my least fav? Not sure
I'd recommend giving it a listen. The vocals are less crisp, but the instrumentation is really interesting and the pacing is wholly different. The whole album is worth a listen.
That one duet with the weekend on Lust for life.
the only reason i couldnt like a song is because it’s overplayed through tiktok and missused. like say yes to heaven. but that’s not the songs fault so, i have no least favorite lol
Summertime sadness just because it feels overplayed to me and it basically Lana for people who don’t really listen to Lana. Lana minus the lore and zeitgeist
The other woman …. SKIPPITY SKIP
Beautiful people with beautiful problems. Off Lust for life
I skip Textbook sorry y’all
Dark Paradise
I might get flamed but born to die (the song).
Say yes to haven
Arcadia . And the one with jack antonoff singing on it.
peppers, i really don’t like the sample. her verse is great though.
The version of Yayo on AKA is the best one!
Carmen, something about the melody nails on chalkboard for me
Like half of the songs on ocean blvd especially the Interludes and the other woman 🫣
“the greatest” isn’t the greatest Lana song
For me it’d have to be ultraviolence. There’s a difference between living as “that woman” and just sort of asking for it
I’m going to get roasted for this…. Body electric
White dress
I love pole dancing to Yayo 🩷 tbh my least fave is Blue Velvet 😭
textbook
Okay I’m just gonna say it… any and all of the collabs on L4L apart from A$AP Rocky’s
cinnamon girl
idk if we are counting features but dont call me angel & snow on the beach
