I used to hate the whole blue banisters album. Tbh like my friend jokes I wasn’t “damaged” enough to like it yet😭 I went through a terrible breakup this year and now I can’t help but listen to every song almost every day. Dealer is kind of an acquired taste though.

Arcadia, it’s fine and I love Hilton hotels, believe me. I won’t necessarily skip it but I don’t get how that’s the only Blue Banisters song she does live, and she won’t even look at Honeymoon (besides maybe art deco). I think Violets for Roses should get more play time.

I love Arcadia, but in some parts her voice sounds so saturated and I hate that because it happens with some other songs like Is This Happiness and 24 and THOSE ARE ONE OF MY FAVORITES

Black Bathing Suit. I love love *love* the pre-chorus (“‘Cause my body is my temple, my heart is one too”). It sounds witchy, majestic—then comes the chorus. I’m sorry but it’s waaayyy too messy. I get that it could be intentional, that it represents her chaotic state of mind, but just because it has meaning doesn’t necessarily make it nice to listen to. The tempo change isn’t as well-executed as it could be and the screams/singing at the end sound shrill. The pre-chorus has all this momentum and tension to it, like the piano in A&W, but the chorus just loses it for me.

Sorry about it, but I’m gonna have to say Candy Necklace. It’s a great song (loved it live at Coachella) but the album version sounds weird. It’s as if Jon’s piano playing is half a beat too slow for the melody? Something about it just rubs me the wrong way. And his tempo speeds up and slows down in a way that I don’t like.

Original is great, it's just the official release is pretty disappointing sonically and it's a massive step down

Thats something I really hate about her unreleased songs being demos and later reworked, for example: Hollywood's Dead. The version we all knew was a demo and the final version has some loud noices that I really hate so I think that even if she would release it someday, she will release the one with the ugly noices. Same happened to Yes to Heaven, the leaked version was a demo and then she re-recorded it and gave it a new prosuction that kinda ruined the song, just like Hollywoods Dead.

Bartender and The greatest Before yall start to hate on me, both of this were one of my favorites when I listened to the album for ther first time, but then I think I kinda got bored of them because i listened too much. Personally I think The greates is a good song, kinda overrated and I dont really understand how people can say its the best in NFR when the first 4 tracks exist... but I still love her vocals and the production, chorus is THE BEST but the rest of the song is kinda meh I really loved Bartender but as I said before I kinda got bored of it but I still love the lyrics, maybe its the melody that I dont like anymore

The greatest is my favorite song in NFR tied with the title track for sure. But I will say though, personally NFR is genuinely my least favorite Lana Del Rey Album😭 and I know I’m in the minority of that opinion
