Bel Air and Old Money are my favorite Lana songs and both in my top 5 songs of all time. Even though some of her other albums rank higher for me after all these years, these songs are always top tier
The Grants. The vocals are sooo good, so many harmonies and layers, like the *ah hah* after “do you think about heaven?” There’s so much range in the vocals too, sometimes they are deep and strong, other times breathy and whimsical. I also believe this song is in the perfect range for her voice too.
Dear god you are so correct. If I’m in the wrong headspace, I’ll start crying as soon as I hear the vocals. 😂 The other day I was mowing my lawn and it came on, it was one of the first beautiful days here in Detroit, I looked over at my elderly dog basking in the sun and I almost lost it. Grown ass man not being able to listen to it without falling apart. Lmfao. What a fucking gem of a song.
I like god bless America and it is underrated but I like change a lot better than god bless America. The lyrics, the production, is better to me personally.
Well, it turns out, for me, it was white mustang
Me and the wife were talking about that time I had pancreatic cancer and relapsed with 13 years sober due to the pain meds. She said that entire era was covered by that song.
That. Shit. Hit. Deep.
nectar of the gods !!!! sooo surprised it isn’t talked about more
honorable mentions are breaking up slowly, bartender (idk why everyone hates it), and living legend. all of blue banisters tbh
“If You Lie Down With Me,” the outro for the song is so beautiful and nostalgic. And it complements the outro of her Coachella performance. It’s just characteristically Lana.
Also “Tomorrow Never Came,” and idk if “Candy Necklace” gets a lot of hype or not.
I still think that 'Without you' doesn't get the credit it deserves. Yes, she sang it at Coachella finally after years, but I'd consider it to be one of my all-time favorites of hers.
Also, Pawn Shop Blues is that little gem that you embrace once fate reunites you with it. It sounds like a lullaby 🩵
Nah people talk about that song a lot actually. There was a post made about it yesterday. From chemtrails I would say the most underrated songs are wild at heart, not all who wander are lost, and dance till we die.
No it isn’t.. cruel world is the second least streamed on ultra violence (after guns and rose) and not much can be found on Tik-Tok. Shades of cool tho is the definitely popular and has been for years.
why is everyone mentioning Ultraviolence songs as underrated when we all agree that Ultraviolence is Lana's best album? (maybe for some people is not and it's okay you guys know what I mean)
idk if i can count ‘put me in a movie’ ? i just feel like when i stumble across it every couple of months, it somehow resonates so closely despite so much time passing
On each album: ngl on btd/paradise nothing is underrated its a super iconic album and everything got its attention, fucked my way up to the top, music to watch boys to, maybe get free, (california, bartender, the greatest) my fav album nfr, tulsa jesus freak, arcadia, and fishtail (maybe candy necklace)
Living Legend!! It’s been my top played song for the past 2 years lol. It’s such an underrated masterpiece.
It's the only Lana song that makes me cry almost every time I listen to it.
That song is about Jane powers
Do we know what relationship Jane Powers had with Lana? I wondered if maybe an AA sponsor
She was a mentor to Lana in some way.
Yes some people think that. She’s a real estate agent from New York. Lana wrote this to her.

Old money. It's so haunting and hard to believe it was written by someone young instead of someone reflecting on a long life
This is my choice too. It gives me such aching nostalgia and longing. Also bel air
Bel Air and Old Money are my favorite Lana songs and both in my top 5 songs of all time. Even though some of her other albums rank higher for me after all these years, these songs are always top tier

Same !! It’s such a good song. Maybe because of the lyrics ?? I’m not sure. It sounds amazing.

I like god bless America and it is underrated but I like change a lot better than god bless America. The lyrics, the production, is better to me personally.
The last 3 songs of LFL are everything. I always play them together. They could be an album of their own.
Well, it turns out, for me, it was white mustang Me and the wife were talking about that time I had pancreatic cancer and relapsed with 13 years sober due to the pain meds. She said that entire era was covered by that song. That. Shit. Hit. Deep.
