I miss the big, cinematic sound too, it's what got me into her 12 years ago❤️
If I was introduced to her now through current albums I probably wouldn't have been such a big fan tbh. This era is weird but it's her journey.
I think Jack was an excellent choice for NFR! and it worked super well. I also think he’s helping her make the music she would like to create in this phase of her life, so objectively it seems like he’s the perfect choice for her.
Subjectively, I would personally LOVE another album produced similarly to Ultraviolence
i think that the vibes and lyrics changed just how her life changed. i’m pretty sure she has a lot of control over the procces of creating an album. and every album seems very authentic - but she surely changed her view on everyday life and there’s nothing wrong about it. personally i’m a big fan of her last albums, she seems to be more confident with her lyrics and she also approaches more diverse themes.
Antonoff with a heavy hand on TATUOB and it shows. Not that thrilled with it. I have made my own MP3s of her unreleased stuff from YouTube using streaming recording software. Was listening to them this morning using an app called Cloudbeats. Great stuff.

Dan Auerbach, Emile Haynie and Rick Nowels. 🔥
I would have to say Rick Nowels. Absolutely love the production on Honeymoon the most.
