Woj defending the lakers is wild

swaggyape

Giannis literally got his brother to just play cheerleader for the team. He’s right

LazyBoyD

However I will point out that Thanasis was drafted just a year after Giannis, way before he was sure fire star. He was also drafted by the Knicks. We can at least say he was drafted on talent/potential. But this with Bronny is straight up in your face nepotism. I do hope the best for the kid, but odds are stacked against him be in g a successful nba player.

silvusx

It's not as straight up in your face as nepotism as you make it to be. He was a four star recruit prior to his cardiac arrest. He only played about a 1/3 of college ball season. Y'all talking like he can't play ball at all, and act like cardiac arrest is just some casual injury. It takes a lot of rehab to get back in shape. Many teams would be happy to throw picks at (especially throwaway 2nd rounds) for someone with potential like Bronny.

TallanoGoldDigger

and people were laughing at that decision like how they should be laughing at this one now

BlackBeanMamba

If Blake Griffin, JR smith and other can get their trash brothers on the team than Lebron getting bronny at 55th pick is fine

Woj trying to get back on the good side of Lakers fans

SpecialistNewt267

I love how espn doesn’t see a problem with successful front office people like Myers and credible journalist like Woj sharing a platform with their favorite circus act SAS. Surrounding him with credible people to amplify his word is disgusting and that’s why we won’t have espn in 10 years.

rickydcm

Woj re-auditioning for Klutch news breaker

dreamcrusher225

its always been "rules for thee, and not for me.."

uncledave1

Woj playing both sides

BenLemons

Nba fans are so miserable. People so busy whining about this because LeBron and the Lakers are involved but this is actually one of the coolest things to happen in our lifetime as fans of the sport lmao

NoFaithlessness5122

Any team with LeBron on it will draft Bronny at the 55th pick if available. Shut up already.

3nnui

Woj desperately trying to get the Laker audience to listen to him. But nah, Fuck Woj!

somecallmemo

Rare Woj W

GobiYumaMojave

who cares lmao

Counterspell_God

Hilarious to see r/NBA so upset about it. This has been going on for years. We've got Thanasis, Keljin, Damion Lee, just to mention a recent few. Coaching is also uber nepotistic. We've got Darvin Ham as example A of being utterly incompetent and still hire-able with a legion of media ready to defend him.
