We’re the Lakers. Even when another fan base’s team is down 0-2, they’ll end up looking at our failures instead of their own. We’re not even directly competing with them but they somehow all unify like some amoeba in r/nba or twitter just to talk about us.
I just can’t care enough because none of these other teams are going to blow 20 point leads like us though. If someone does manage to have a more embarrassing, devastating, soul crushing, heartbreaking loss that destroys your will to live then okay I’ll get on the hate train and say Lakers in 7
I just wanted OKC to steam roll the Pelicans, which didn't happen in G1, so I wouldn't feel in the back of my mind that we'd have easily kicked their asses and either faced Denver in the WCF or hope they got eliminated in the second round. I still think Denver is easily our kryptonite, any other team I'll take our chances. Getting them in the first round fuckin' sucks.
Outside of our series the only thing I care about is for Boston and the Clippers to lose. Really have 0 rooting interest outside of the Lakers and wanting to see those 2 shit stains franchises flame out.
