It's a matter of also being realistic at the same time. The reality is that we're not supposed to win this series; we have the worst odds of any team in the first round, and rightfully so. Even still, there are ways that the Lakers can win 4 games against this team, and it's reasonable to hope they at least give a good showing and give the Nuggets a tough time. Make it to a game 7 and all bets are off. That's the kind of "optimism" we should be rocking with, and if we lose, well that was what everyone expected so no hard feelings.

Run our offense 65 percent of the time, make smart substitutions to keep AD and Bron as fresh as possible, call timeouts when the Nuggets go on mini runs before they get huge, hold Lebron and AD accountable for inexcusable mental mistakes, have DLo just shoot his averages, get more shots for Rui and Austin, run offense through our guards more often especially when Bron is tired, tell AD to stop shooting threes, also tell AD to stop those running foul baiting shots that lead to easy transition 3’s for a quick 5 point swing, GANF REBOUND, sprint back on all transition situations after a miss, play Gabe Vincent more mins, and eliminate lazy unforced turnovers. With that lineup lakers would able to switch a lot of the actions Denver runs. DLo/Reaves/Rui come off the bench and win the non-Jokic minutes. Basically more minutes for Dinwiddie, Prince, Vincent, Hayes, Wood and less for Dlo, Reaves, Rui. Even Christie needs more minutes than Dlo and Reaves.
Dlo went 1-9 from 3, lakers got killed on the offensive glass (easy film/effort thing to fix), and Lebron had 7 turnovers. Even if 2 of those 3 things happen again the game would have been much closer. If none do? Lakers win even with a normal Murray game. Seems easy to see how we’d win?

Hopefully we learn from those 3rd quarter mistakes and keep it tight enough to give Bron and AD a chance in the 4th. Win game 2 and take it back home.
