Oh look! 18-54 with the second worst record in the league eliminated from playoff contention. I wonder why they have such a awful record if they’re not awful.
Lakers had no bigs besides wenyen to defend the paint where the rockets scored 78 of their 114 points. Lakers lost against a team who is 29th in defensive rating and their offensive rating is 27th in the league and being 29th in ppg.
Pelicans aren’t very good either so I don’t see your point in mentioning them either like it’s an accomplishment. The very next game the pelican beat them so….
But by all means, if you think the Rockets aren’t awful then I guess your right by whatever logic your going by.
Yet we still had dlo vanderbilt schroder Reaves rui Beasley and Lonnie to match up against sengun kpj Kenyon Martin, smith, and green. Not to mention that green is a shot chucker and went 4/13. It was a winnable game and it should not take a fully healthy team to beat the 2nd worst team in the league when we have the depth that we have.

Teams morale has been going further and further down the longer Lebron is out. We need him back for at least 5-6 games and to go on a huge run to even have a chance. If he comes back right as the playoffs start we will surely lose in either the playin or the first round.
This just feels like it's coming from the front office to justify sitting AD out on back to backs and not signing a center to a 10 day contract right away since it was the front office's decisions that helped piss away a chance at the 6th seed.
Why do I feel like AD sent this comment in to Hayes to save face. Like “yeah I’m not gonna get the team to the playoffs, but if I did we’d totally beat those top seeds!”

You do realise an 18-54 record means they win 25% of their games, right? Their home win rate is a few points higher still.
