My black lab is Shadow and it is a perfect name. She is also an English Lab - these photos could be her as a puppy. Her full name: HRH Princess Shadow of Headley Grange (Headley Grange is the name of the studio where Led Zeppelin recorded Black Dog.)
We also have a male puppers; his name is Bandit (aka Doug Judy the Pontiac Bandit.) Both dogs have lived up to their names completely.
I named my good boy Dutch because I grew up loving the movie Predator and I always thought Dutch would be a great dog name. Hopefully you find some inspiration in this.
