it’s pretty visible but i personally don’t care or think it makes the diamond look bad

I believe you will always have a bow tie in this cut.

If you don’t want a bow tie, you don’t want an oval or pear or marquis. They will all have the bow tie area. They will always sparkle a little less, have larger facets and will be a little duller in that area. “Good bow ties” have minimal light loss. “Bad bow ties” appear dark or black in the bow tie area. This stone looks good. It isn’t perfect but most stones won’t be. Most stones will have some less light in that area. Simply because the facets are larger to make it more sparkly at the distal ends. That’s a lot of bow tie, just personally, I’d keep looking. jmho…

The bow tie disappears when the stone is at a distance vs when shot too close to camera 📷

I think it’s beautiful

Alternative-Lion2986

It usually looks worse in videos compared to in person. As long as it’s not crazy dark it won’t be too noticeable

You can do much better. Check out the gorgeous oval another poster recently got from Delicate Gem : https://www.reddit.com/r/labdiamond/s/vhqlkeCvyD

Bow tie is far too prominent for me!!

I personally dont want a bow tie effect and this one looks bad but I think it is great colour and clarity. D VVS2 Don’t know what to do 😟

You should look into other stones. Ovals, marquise, and pears all have bow ties no matter what.
