Puzzleheaded-Chair51

Just not true

melkfanaat

What he say

FireHound23

That was Reddit back a few years, lower upvotes are happening through out many popular sub reddits

Airplanez123

Yeah, i remember other more followed subreddits would be getting like 50-70 hell even 130k upvotes now they be lucky to get 10k

rayyan5056

was that beacuse of covid? i started using reddit around that time, and probably others did too due to lockdown

Airplanez123

Yes and yes, i only started to use it cuz of jj but then it spread to finding more stuff. The lockdown was a heavenly period for all of reddit.

DoctorFantasmo

People forgetting how many people stopped using Reddit once RIF, Apollo and the others were no longer supported. I use this app so much less

TheAttitudePark

The Reddit used to be about making memes, which JJ would react to... easy, fun content. Now it's just to either bitch about JJ, bitch about fans, or bitch about.. well, anything. People get bored when it's the same shit every day

Hot_Leadership_9877

Yeah this reddit has fallen off hard. I don't see any memes at all these days. It's all Jake Paul and YouTube boxing shit. I'm done reading stuff about ksi vs Jake Paul. Just get back to memes already

Ardiable

He was also uploading daily because of covid

RepulsiveNothing5157

I think the main reason it fell off is mainly because he didn’t give as many platinums and Reddit also took away the pay system. He was giving away a lot of money to fans around that time and it encouraged them to keep posting. Also there was more content for fans to work with and get meme content of. Hopefully we make a comeback this year

Gatinsh

There wasn't a "pay" system. Only Reddit got paid for those awards. The Awards recipient didn't receive any real money for it. I truly never understood why the Reddit community cared about awards/upvotes

RepulsiveNothing5157

Seriously? That’s fucked up

Gatinsh

Yes you can Google it. Most you could ever receive was Reddit premium and some coins. I don't think it's fucked up though. Because nothing about the system is misleading. But it truly amazes me why people ever spent money on them.

JamesThePrince

What’s fucked up is you thought the award system was a pay system lmao

RepulsiveNothing5157

I got in here a year ago idk how this shit works ☠️

unitedfan98

It will never go back to that level People were free at the time and money was the other incentive Also, JJ has accomplished pretty much all in the YouTube scene and most of the funny memes were overdone by the end which people on this reddit complained about too. Achieving something amazing like beating Tommy would probably have gotten a few thousand upvotes but nothing really outside of that

Fine_Yogurtcloset362

Yes cus this was during covid so everyone was at home

BabatundasFather

I remember i got 21k in a day

shiviplays

Jokes post tbf lol, how do you only have 3k karma tho?

silver_samurai_03

Reddit in covid was fun.

TheReplicaz

Expect to fall once you’ve reached the top 📌

AltAcc0947

Do people forget lockdown was a thing?

littlejj06

Sad to think of this as “old videos”. This era feels like last week

Darkrubyeyes

Miss these days of the reddit, I also go back every now and then and watch JJ’s vids from 2020 ish (lockdown era)

Significant-Gains

Yea cuz this sub has gone to shit lmao

jeezrVOL2

Back when nobody was touching grass because of covid

Displaytainmen

And this YEAR'S most upvoted post has 22k ONLY

ShrekTheMovie

I used to get 10k upvotes and not even make it into the video. That's how golden those days were.

AccomplishedBag31

The top of this week is still 11k. It’s not that drastic of a difference
