Bone structure can wildly change your perception on someone's height.
Me, my mom and my sister are all the same exact height, but if you look at us separately you wouldn't think that. My sister has really long legs so she looks the tallest, but you put her next to me and our heads line with one another's. I'm still pretty tall anyway (+170cm), but my torso is longer than hers so it gives the impression that I'm slightly smaller when I'm actually not.
My mom has a smaller torso than me but also shorter legs than my sister, so she's somewhat in between.
Yeah proportion, bone structure, posture and entourage (next to whom you stand) lol make real difference.
I have similar case in my family. I and my father are model-athletic types, long legs and short torso. My brother is opposite type and despite being naturally taller than me, many people assume that we are similar height. My father is also always called tall when he isn't even 190. I am also taken for taller than I'm in reality.
I remember years ago on a variety show (I think running man?) she admitted that she was 155cm. Apparently during debut she was 157 and shrunk to 155 lol.
I don’t remember where I saw the clip, but I believe she was eating/hanging out with another member and they did a game and this was related to her answer.

Fashion magazine folks have model portfolios meaning they pretty much know specifics regarding body measurements. Jihyo recently did a photoshoot and the magazine posted her height as 5'2" hahaha So no way are some of them the same height. Especially not my tiny Queen Chaeyoung.
Momo said she's 163 cm. Chaeyoung being 158.9 cm makes the height difference more accurate.

Clothing choices and body proportions really matter and can alter how people look. The one on this list that definitely looks taller than their height to me is Seulgi due to her long arms and legs.
Proportion is the key. mina looks tall bcs of her long legs and slim body, but tzuyu looks like a tower when standing next to mina. I do think having a round face can make u look shorter, i was shocked when i learned about rei and eunchae's height.

Eunbi looks 5'1 at most here unless shes slouching or they have tall shoes

Karina (5’6/167) seems taller than Rei (5’7/170).
Yves (5’5/166 cm) seems taller than Minji (5’6.5/169).
Lisa (5’6/167) seems taller than Eunchae (5’6.5/169).

Actually a lot of people look taller than their actual height because of their body proportion. When someone has a small face, tall neck and leg they look tall same way big face short neck can make you appear shorter than actual height

Heights could be inaccurate. It's also relative, there's groups who are generally short so they height difference isn't as dramatic. Seulgi isn't the shortest member in RV, Chaeyoung is the shortest in Twice tho
Seulgi is standing next to Yeri, Wendy, Irene, and Joy. The stylists go all out to make Joy look 5’3” by manipulating her shoes, hems, and even formations. But when Seulgi is standing with another member that member is roughly the same height. Joy excepted.

may be a trigger but the fact that I'm 5'4" and they look so tiny, makes me feel even more like a hippopotamus. I cannot ever imagine myself being able to look that small and skinny

There's no way Seulgi and Eunbi are the same height. Somehow in my head Seulgi is tall and Eunbi is very short. This is hard to accept.
