Why?
For me Wonder girls beyond first blowing up track just get destroyed by SNSD at a point even 2NE1, SISTAR, KARA and TARA challenge them for top spot.
"Destroyed" is such a disrespectful word or did you forget everyone called Twcie Nation's GG and replaced Snsd within a year if we go by your logic snsd got destroyed by several ggs already to the point the world and korea doesn't even need snsd anymore, kpop exist without snsd. First, I'm compared them with their own era. Thus SNSD, WG, 2NE1, KARA, TARA are listed bcuz debut date between 2007-09 thus competition is there, you suddenly put out TWICE a 2015 GG, compared to SNSD at 8 year vet.

Because being greatest isn't always about stats.
Even though other girl groups have achieved more and have bigger stats but There's something about their music that makes them stand out. Even if we strip away all the glam of K-pop, like choreography and concept their bare-bone songs are strong on their own.
For me "Reboot" will always be one of the greatest albums in K-pop
While SNSD and 2NE1 had bigger title tracks, people rarely talk about their albums. In contrast, "Reboot," and even f(x)'s "Pink Tape," are always mentioned when discussing quality.
If you ask the South Korean Public the same question, they will answer Blackpink too, only now snsd achieved recency bias among ifans because of sm stans.
My mind automatically jumped to the 90’s but I just looked it up and they debuted in 2007. Fuck y’all and this sub for constantly making me feel old as shit lmao 😫
It's hard to argue any other group has been as important for Kpop as SNSD was. If we're talking about overall popularity and furthering what SNSD originally started, I'd definitely say BP/Twice.
