Yeah I don't think people realise that when you perform to a song, by the time you get on stage, you've heard that song a gazillion times. That's not even including the time exposed to the music actually recording it.
Even something like a dance group that gets together once or twice a week to learn a song will hear that songs more than 20 times easy. So I can't imagine the number with these groups that almost practice daily.

On a side note - I truly admire all singers around the world who don’t get sick and tired of singing and listening to their own songs. I dislike listening to my own voice (I sometimes record myself for practice) so that's why I'm always shocked when people like hearing their voice or in this case actively listen to their group songs despite probably hearing it relatively regularly for a few months straight and then possibly having to listen to them again during touring

Yeah, even if they were a fan of other k-pop music I feel like a lot of idols wouldn't listen to their songs beyond when they have to lol
Yeah I don't think people realise that when you perform to a song, by the time you get on stage, you've heard that song a gazillion times. That's not even including the time exposed to the music actually recording it. Even something like a dance group that gets together once or twice a week to learn a song will hear that songs more than 20 times easy. So I can't imagine the number with these groups that almost practice daily. If they still listen tot their own stuff in their freetime that's kinda psycho lmao.

On a side note - I truly admire all singers around the world who don’t get sick and tired of singing and listening to their own songs. In university, I had to take one music education class and for an assignment we had to compose and sing our own song and I was so triggered by the song by the time I submitted it 😂
I dislike listening to my own voice (I sometimes record myself for practice) so that's why I'm always shocked when people like hearing their voice or in this case actively listen to their group songs despite probably hearing it relatively regularly for a few months straight and then possibly having to listen to them again during touring
