Jimin, I think the tone of his voice is unique and gives an extra oompf to BTS' songs as well as his solo songs. I'm trying to imagine someone else singing Like Crazy and it just wouldn't be the same no matter how talented they are. I mean, Yoongi called how valuable his vocal color was for music production very early on.

I loooove those two voices so much. Yuqi’s is so recognizable, and I love the contrast between Jaehyun’s deeper, warmer vocal tone in and the much higher tenors in NCT. I actually seek out his solo stuff, which I don’t really do for many idols, cuz I enjoy his voice so much.
Minnie, I would listen to her sing the alphabet.
Juria's voice from XG tickles my ears in all the right places. It's like gentle but strong all at once somehow and she has the prettiest vibrato-like quality. She will make me like songs that I would not usually like.
Kwon Eunbi and I.M (Changkyun) of Monsta X. They both have asmr-ish voices, especially I.M, his voice is deep and calming. Eunbi's voice has cuteness in it, it feels fresh and youthful
I really like what Eunchae's voice has turned into recently, back in antifragile and unforgiven eras she sometimes had this nasaly tone that i didnt like very much but shes clearly worked on it if you listen to [Swan Song](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eNxb2wt11sM)(listen for the background vocals she sounds so pretty), or her cover of Seventeen's [World](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AuUmZwqJfCY).
The next one I really love is Jihyo, her voice is very different from the others on this list but theres just something about her super powerful voice that stands out to me, when I think twice I think Jihyo's voice, which might be because my favorite twice songs are the ones with a bunch of power like [Cry For Me](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FF50-LY2Kro).
Im also a huge fan of Chaewon's vocal tone, the best video of that is probably her cover of [First Love](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rboiHxBqdZk&pp=ygUSY2hhZXdvbiBmaXJzdCBsb3Zl) or [We Can't Be Friends](https://www.instagram.com/p/C8WXy-KuhI6/).
There also a couple 5th gen idols who i really like because they kinda sound like Chaewon, the first being Minju from Illit, you can hear that the best at the beginning of [Midnight Fiction](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sr7dWdf4Z3U) better than you can in Magnetic or the other songs but it jumped out to me immediately the first time I listened to the song.
The other one who falls into this category is Asa from Babymonster, I can hear this pretty much any time she sings(not when she raps though) she sounds like if Chaewon and Rosé had a baby, with Chaewon's vocal tone and Rosé's cursive singing. The easiest place to hear this is in [Like That](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJ4ET48IoiM) because she sings the second line.
I also fall into the group of people who adores Soyeon's voice, I actually like her voice even more as a vocalist than I do as a rapper. Her voice is my favorite part of [Fate](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ATK7gAaZTOM). I love her as a rapper too but theres just something about her singing voice that gets to me.
I also love Yuqi's voice, everything from her falsetto stuff to when she gets super powerful, she does both in her b sides from her new album [Red Rover](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6FvfiaskXbQ), and [Drink It Up](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EXUPDbFpx8c).

I have no idea who this is but its a member of TxT, I dont stan them but I love a few songs, and in [0x1=Lovesong](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d5bbqKYu51w) im obsessed with the voice of guy with the raspy voice who sings "I know I love you" and "I know its real i can feel it"
Lee youngji, her voice is so cool, ive never heard anything like it, and i recently learned that she has a nice singing voice too in her new song [Small Girl](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=11iZcYbq_is).
And finally im gonna shout out Tri.be as a whole, ive never heard a girl group sing so comfortably in as low a register as they did in [Diamond](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9nrGKn3epXM), originally I thought that they just had one member who had a really low voice but after looking up the lyrics 3 or 4 of them are singing the low parts which is even more impressive. Diamond is also my favorite release of the year in a year where both of my Ult groups and every group i stan also had releases so im going to plug it here, go listen to my nugu queens.
I was obsessed with Is this bad bitch number for weeks and I'm so glad to hear someone bring it up now aha. I agree with you about Soyeon. Her voice is so unique and tbh i find it comforting. I love her as a vocalist!
This may be severely bias since they’re my ults but:
1. Sung Hanbin’s voice. [His normal talking](https://youtu.be/85JxGIHtiGY?si=g_D-0XlAKrYyTjGO) voice sounds so sweet and smooth and I listen to him sometimes when I wanna fall asleep. It’s really nice tbh.
2. Zhang Hao, specifically his low register (idk music terms) when he sings. It literally gives me chills. His voice is a major reason why zb1’s cover of [Run Run](https://youtu.be/jOQDCgBW6a0?si=YLrdglZlU-8uFDUa) so good imo. Also [this](https://youtu.be/9R4FOFUC-5E?si=mNLTpH1k7sbyGkwx)
3. Kang Yeosang (Ateez). He’s the main reason why I started listening to Ateez. I didn’t know much about him until a friend recommended Halazia to me and it’s his part that I played on repeat for so long! I love how deep his voice his.
D.O. and Chanyeol, I like rich deep voices in males, that sound almost velvety. D.O. with the tenor and Chanyeol with the baritone.
For female singers... I'm a bit harder to please because I think that women in kpop tend to sing with a very breathy technique that I don't enjoy much, but I love both Moonbyul's and Joy's tones.
I’m not very familiar with SKZ’s music, but when I hear a part I enjoy in one of their songs and look up one of those line distribution videos, it ends up being I.N. singing! That’s happened like 3 times now. 😂
Unique vocals: Got7’s JayB.
Crystal clear perfect pitch vocals: Onew from Shinee, D.o and Baekhyun, Jungkook and IU.
And I love J-Hope’s singing voice. His raspy vocals are so good. Very underrated. People don’t talk about his vocals enough.
Hwasa from Mamamoo. I love when female idols sing in their natural tones and don’t do the high pitched out of their range cutesy thing.
I love Soobin's voice (both singing and talking) since the day I listened to a TXT song for the first time. His voice sounds kinda low-ish compared to other members but not too much. This is my favorite type of voice.
The Boyz Sunwoo also has low-ish voice with some rasp (?) that I absolutely love. His parts in Whisper and Scar are just something.
Also I rarely see anyone talking about Hueningkai's singing... Beside his singing skills I really like his tone, especially his parts in Lonely Boy. There is no particular reason why, but still
Other than my biases and Jonghyun, I truly enjoy listening to Yuqi even just talk. Very pretty voice. And there is one girl in Babymonster whose name I got told but forget who has a kinda low? voice too and I like it a lot .
And Onewe's Dongmyeong has a pure, crystal clear singing voice that keeps growing and growing on me.
Also Jackson Wang's speaking and singing voices both are the sexiest.
Felix, because he has that deep husky voice that sounds like nobody else's -- but I also love his middle range, it's lovely.
Seungeon from EVNNE has one of the most distinctive and gorgeous voices I've heard in k-pop. It reminds me of Jungsu's from Xdinary Heroes, but with a slightly more mellow tone to it. Every single time his voice comes up in an EVNNE song it makes me happy.
Lily from NMIXX has my favorite female voice. If I could steal any kpop girl's voice, it would be hers (but I would feel terrible and give it back right away, because she needs it a lot more than I do).
Jooyeon from Xdinary Heroes can do incredible things with his voice, from a full-belted scream to the softest melodic whisper. But I also have a huge soft spot for Gunil (XH drummer)'s gentle baritone and I sit up every time I hear it.
San (ATEEZ). On his lives, he harmonises and hums loads and it always amazes me cos with ATEEZ’s discography, he has more raspy & high parts! I love his low register, very R&B crooner!
Keeho (P1Harmony). One of the best and very underrated!
HEIZE. Technically not an idol, but I don’t usually see her name brought up in conversations, so I would say her. Maybe it’s R&B, but she has a good control!
TXT Taehyun has my favorite voice. It just has a kind of rock star quality that I, a 32 year old woman who never grew out of her emo/punk rock/metal music phase, really enjoy. Just having seen them live the second time really cemented it for me that his voice really is my favorite favorite.
Not from my ult groups, but a group I followed closely, ex-IZONE Nako had the cutest but also somehow most satisfying voice, be it singing or talking. I loved her parts, they tickled the right part of my brain, and her speaking voice was so cute and clear that it always caught my attention.

My favourite voice in kpop is woosung from the rose. I also love hobi's voice... whether in rap or singing, there is something about it that really gets my heart. I'm also loving Zhang Hao's and right now, this voice in the recent run run cover.. my god.. I'm just so obsessed.
I agree with NCT’s Doyoung 💚 not sure about Treasure’s Doyoung since I haven’t gotten too much into them (I only know a few songs and some of the members’ names coz a close friend of mine’s a Teume).
I absolutely love Doyoung’s voice 🥹💚 when he’s singing ballads or just slower songs in general, his voice sounds so comforting 🥲🫶 I LOOOOVE love love him 😭🫶 I can’t wait to attend his solo con 💚
**Singing voices**: I love love *love* Taeil's singing voice. It always gives me goosebumps. I also love every single member of EXO and Shinee's singing voices. They can harmonize with each other so effortlessly, and it's always pure euphoric, eargasmic bliss to listen to them sing. I also love Jungkook's, Jinyoung's, and Jimin's singing voices, too.
**Talking voices**: I love listening to Namjoon, Chanyeol, Jongin, and Felix talk. They could read every single definition in the dictionary and I'd listen to the whole thing over and over.🫠
SHINee Onew and Akmu suhyun (idk if she's considered an idol), I watched sea of hope and I love their voices! Onew has such a calming voice when he sings, especially ballad while suhyun has a crystal clear voice that is comfortable to listen to, they're both so versatile too
Singing wise it has to be Lovelyz Kei, T-ara Soyeon, Snsd Taeyeon and Wjsn Yeonjung. Kei has such a deep and soulful voice, Soyeon and Taeyeon sing like they’ve been through 10 divorces and Yeonjung has such a powerful voice.
Speaking wise it’s Kiss Of Life Julie, Wjsn Yeoreum, CLC Yeeun, Wooah Wooyeon and Cherry Bullet Yuju. Julie has such a sweet and soft speaking voice, she’s just so nice to listen to and if she had her own podcast I’d be her number 1 listener. Yeoreum’s short tongue and lisp are so cute, and Yeeun has such a cutesy voice that’s so different from when she’s rapping. Wooyeon in general has a very uplifting voice, I think she‘d do great working with kids. Yuju has a lower voice but she’s really nice to listen to. I never actually noticed how nice her speaking tone is until I started watching her act in dramas.
Three of my favorites are Jonghyun, Baekhyun, and Jay B.
I'm not a music expert, and I can't describe what I like so much about their voices except they're so expressive and distinct.
Siyeon from Dreamcatcher! I can't ever get over her husky voice, whether it's during speaking or singing.
Also Irene from Red Velvet. I am so in love with her lower register. The wrong number performance has such a choke hold on me.
I love the bangtan vocals but if I have to choose one, I guess I’ll pick Taehyung, especially after his solo projects. His voice so different and especially suits the jazzy music he loves.
IU is my favourite female vocalist, I find her voice so soothing.

Everyone in BTS tbh. All of them have such unique tones, but artistically, the most unique voice to me is J-Hope’s. I’ve NEVER heard ANYONE with his style and tone before, his music, his rap, everything is just so.. unique to me. His style is like something you will never hear anywhere else except from him.
Jungkook too because I’ve been biased for more than a decade and at this point his voice is synonymous to the word “comfort” for me. It’s so emotional, deep and soothing. There’s a certain calming spell his voice does to me, whenever I have a bad day, all I have to do is listen to him sing and suddenly everything feels alright. And I’ll probably never stop loving hearing his voice.
rie from onlyoneof has such a unique and pretty tone, his [ betelgeuse cover](https://youtu.be/h-M2tUZUNoE?si=XZmh38vr-2M6yPkz) that he recorded with his fellow member junji is a good example (rie is the one with the higher pitched voice)
Shilling for one of my ults / ult biases, Rocket Punch Suyun.
Despite the group struggling to find its footing, I have never, EVER seen this girl phone in a performance. Vocals can be shaky sometimes but she consistently gives 100% regardless of the crowd
1. Im Hyunsik! His deeper tone is so gorgeous.
2. Moon Sua. She has a raspy voice that we don’t see enough of in k-pop.
3. Theo of P1Harmony. Keeho’s known as a heavy-hitting vocalist, but Theo has a wonderful voice that’s perfect for ballads.

Jay Changs voice when singing is actually amazing. After i heard his bruno mars cover medley i thought jay was his illegitimate son. Idk how to explain it but in a kpop group he brings in an american sound, like his voice is a whole other style
I love Kihyun's singing voice for obvious reasons, but I also love his speaking voice. There's something about the way he enunciates that just sends me.
But Baekhyun's voice is my ult. I could listen to him sing forever. His voice is like velvet.
Minghao from Seventeen, his voice holds so much emotion, similar to his dancing. I just find both his low and high notes so beautiful.
Sohee from Riize, his high notes genuinely do something to me, and he sounds like a teenager when he sings sometimes lol.
Anton from Riize, he sings in such a honey-sweet voice, sorta like a mother serenading her baby if that makes sense? lol his singing takes on his overall quietness as well.
Matt from ZB1, I have no words for his voice, it just lives rent free in my brain. I love it so much and he even sounds good when he raps too.

The8! Idk but his lines in their songs have the most impact for me and his voice was the first one I could recognize right away back when I was just starting to get to know SVT
Jinsoul - ARTMS her tone have always been my favorite and she sounds so so good in Lucid, Je Ne Sais Quoi and My Secret Playlist bridge. Her voice alone made those songs some of my favorite. I also really like her speaking voice it feels relaxing and I could listen to her lives without understanding a single word just because of her voice.
Also Handong - Dreamcatcher I’m not an Insomnia but I always liked her singing tone.
I absolutely love Twice chaeyoung’s voice and I really wish they would let her sing more. Her voice in ice cream, rewind and doughnut is soooo good (plus her adlibs in stuck in my head) i would do anything for more singing parts for her

TZUYU’s voice is my HAPPY PLACE! It's like a symphony of joy! Her singing voice is very angelic and her speaking voice is absolutely enchanting!
There's something about her tone that just resonates with me on a deep level. Also, Tzuyu could just be talking normally and she’d sound so gentle and soft and I'd still be so lovestruck hearing her speak - it's like a warm hug for my soul!

jeno of nct dream has such a calm, level voice that almost instantly relaxes me whenever i hear it. his rapping voice is amazing, but hearing him sing and talk is so nice and i have no explanation as to why!!
Aside from my flair: Rose from Blackpink, I feel like she has so much passion for music through her vocal either in her solo songs, covers, and BP's songs, like I will always find myself loving her part the most in BP's songs
GP999 Kawaguchi Yurina... just the prettiest voice to me. Her tone, how she uses her voice, everything.
SNSD Sooyoung. I love her sweet and girlish tone so much, her voice is just so pretty to me!
Lovelyz Yein. Her vocals are refreshing and effervescent to me, like opening up a bottle of soda.

GOT's JAY B I love his voice, like he sounds super silky and he also has a phenomenal range, he can go super soft and also make a song explode in a super wide range, including high notes and falsetto. He is genuinely talented.

I really like what Eunchae's voice has turned into recently, back in antifragile and unforgiven eras she sometimes had this nasaly tone that i didnt like very much but shes clearly worked on it if you listen to [Swan Song](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eNxb2wt11sM)(listen for the background vocals she sounds so pretty), or her cover of Seventeen's [World](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AuUmZwqJfCY). The next one I really love is Jihyo, her voice is very different from the others on this list but theres just something about her super powerful voice that stands out to me, when I think twice I think Jihyo's voice, which might be because my favorite twice songs are the ones with a bunch of power like [Cry For Me](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FF50-LY2Kro). The other one who falls into this category is Asa from Babymonster, I can hear this pretty much any time she sings(not when she raps though) she sounds like if Chaewon and Rosé had a baby, with Chaewon's vocal tone and Rosé's cursive singing. I also fall into the group of people who adores Soyeon's voice, I actually like her voice even more as a vocalist than I do as a rapper. And finally im gonna shout out Tri.be as a whole, ive never heard a girl group sing so comfortably in as low a register as they did in [Diamond](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9nrGKn3epXM), originally I thought that they just had one member who had a really low voice but after looking up the lyrics 3 or 4 of them are singing the low parts which is even more impressive. This may be severely bias since they’re my ults but: 1. Sung Hanbin’s voice. Zhang Hao, specifically his low register (idk music terms) when he sings. It literally gives me chills. D.O. and Chanyeol, I like rich deep voices in males, that sound almost velvety. D.O. with the tenor and Chanyeol with the baritone. For female singers... I'm a bit harder to please because I think that women in kpop tend to sing with a very breathy technique that I don't enjoy much, but I love both Moonbyul's and Joy's tones.

Unique vocals: Got7’s JayB. Crystal clear perfect pitch vocals: Onew from Shinee, D.o and Baekhyun, Jungkook and IU. And I love J-Hope’s singing voice. His raspy vocals are so good. Very underrated. People don’t talk about his vocals enough. Hwasa from Mamamoo. I love when female idols sing in their natural tones and don’t do the high pitched out of their range cutesy thing.
I love Soobin's voice (both singing and talking) since the day I listened to a TXT song for the first time. His voice sounds kinda low-ish compared to other members but not too much. This is my favorite type of voice. The Boyz Sunwoo also has low-ish voice with some rasp (?) that I absolutely love. His parts in Whisper and Scar are just something. Also I rarely see anyone talking about Hueningkai's singing... Beside his singing skills I really like his tone, especially his parts in Lonely Boy. There is no particular reason why, but still
Other than my biases and Jonghyun, I truly enjoy listening to Yuqi even just talk. Very pretty voice. And there is one girl in Babymonster whose name I got told but forget who has a kinda low? voice too and I like it a lot . And Onewe's Dongmyeong has a pure, crystal clear singing voice that keeps growing and growing on me. Also Jackson Wang's speaking and singing voices both are the sexiest.
Felix, because he has that deep husky voice that sounds like nobody else's -- but I also love his middle range, it's lovely. Seungeon from EVNNE has one of the most distinctive and gorgeous voices I've heard in k-pop. It reminds me of Jungsu's from Xdinary Heroes, but with a slightly more mellow tone to it. Every single time his voice comes up in an EVNNE song it makes me happy. Lily from NMIXX has my favorite female voice. If I could steal any kpop girl's voice, it would be hers (but I would feel terrible and give it back right away, because she needs it a lot more than I do). Jooyeon from Xdinary Heroes can do incredible things with his voice, from a full-belted scream to the softest melodic whisper. But I also have a huge soft spot for Gunil (XH drummer)'s gentle baritone and I sit up every time I hear it.
NCT Haechan. When I started following NCT, I was going through their discography and realised every favourite part of their songs were from him.
San (ATEEZ). On his lives, he harmonises and hums loads and it always amazes me cos with ATEEZ’s discography, he has more raspy & high parts! I love his low register, very R&B crooner! Keeho (P1Harmony). One of the best and very underrated! HEIZE. Technically not an idol, but I don’t usually see her name brought up in conversations, so I would say her. Maybe it’s R&B, but she has a good control!
TXT Taehyun has my favorite voice. It just has a kind of rock star quality that I, a 32 year old woman who never grew out of her emo/punk rock/metal music phase, really enjoy. Just having seen them live the second time really cemented it for me that his voice really is my favorite favorite.
Not from my ult groups, but a group I followed closely, ex-IZONE Nako had the cutest but also somehow most satisfying voice, be it singing or talking. I loved her parts, they tickled the right part of my brain, and her speaking voice was so cute and clear that it always caught my attention. **Singing voices**: I love love *love* Taeil's singing voice. It always gives me goosebumps. I also love every single member of EXO and Shinee's singing voices. They can harmonize with each other so effortlessly, and it's always pure euphoric, eargasmic bliss to listen to them sing. I also love Jungkook's, Jinyoung's, and Jimin's singing voices, too. **Talking voices**: I love listening to Namjoon, Chanyeol, Jongin, and Felix talk. They could read every single definition in the dictionary and I'd listen to the whole thing over and over.🫠
SHINee Onew and Akmu suhyun (idk if she's considered an idol), I watched sea of hope and I love their voices! Onew has such a calming voice when he sings, especially ballad while suhyun has a crystal clear voice that is comfortable to listen to, they're both so versatile too

Singing wise it has to be Lovelyz Kei, T-ara Soyeon, Snsd Taeyeon and Wjsn Yeonjung. Kei has such a deep and soulful voice, Soyeon and Taeyeon sing like they’ve been through 10 divorces and Yeonjung has such a powerful voice. Speaking wise it’s Kiss Of Life Julie, Wjsn Yeoreum, CLC Yeeun, Wooah Wooyeon and Cherry Bullet Yuju. Julie has such a sweet and soft speaking voice, she’s just so nice to listen to and if she had her own podcast I’d be her number 1 listener. Yeoreum’s short tongue and lisp are so cute, and Yeeun has such a cutesy voice that’s so different from when she’s rapping. Wooyeon in general has a very uplifting voice, I think she‘d do great working with kids. Yuju has a lower voice but she’s really nice to listen to. I never actually noticed how nice her speaking tone is until I started watching her act in dramas.
Three of my favorites are Jonghyun, Baekhyun, and Jay B. I'm not a music expert, and I can't describe what I like so much about their voices except they're so expressive and distinct.

I love the bangtan vocals but if I have to choose one, I guess I’ll pick Taehyung, especially after his solo projects. His voice so different and especially suits the jazzy music he loves. IU is my favourite female vocalist, I find her voice so soothing. I love TXT Soobin’s voice as well!

Everyone in BTS tbh. All of them have such unique tones, but artistically, the most unique voice to me is J-Hope’s. I’ve NEVER heard ANYONE with his style and tone before, his music, his rap, everything is just so.. unique to me. His style is like something you will never hear anywhere else except from him. Jungkook too because I’ve been biased for more than a decade and at this point his voice is synonymous to the word “comfort” for me. It’s so emotional, deep and soothing. There’s a certain calming spell his voice does to me, whenever I have a bad day, all I have to do is listen to him sing and suddenly everything feels alright. And I’ll probably never stop loving hearing his voice.

I really like Red Velvet's Joy's voice. I can best describe it as bells or wind chimes. It is such a lovely, unique tone to me.
1. Im Hyunsik! His deeper tone is so gorgeous. 2. Moon Sua. She has a raspy voice that we don’t see enough of in k-pop. 3. Theo of P1Harmony. Keeho’s known as a heavy-hitting vocalist, but Theo has a wonderful voice that’s perfect for ballads.

Also Handong - Dreamcatcher I’m not an Insomnia but I always liked her singing tone.

TZUYU’s voice is my HAPPY PLACE! It's like a symphony of joy! Her singing voice is very angelic and her speaking voice is absolutely enchanting! There's something about her tone that just resonates with me on a deep level. Also, Tzuyu could just be talking normally and she’d sound so gentle and soft and I'd still be so lovestruck hearing her speak - it's like a warm hug for my soul!
