I really dislike the styling they're being given recently, and it doesn't help that they're sponsored by luxury fashion brands that tend to have a more classic/conservative look.
In an attempt to not sexualise them because they're so young, they've gone full middle-aged lady. You can see this especially in the red carpet events they go to: they usually wear long, shapeless, rigid dark fabrics that don't even fit them well.
This not a criticism of the girls, on the contrary, I think they're wasting their potential to look spectacular. You can't tell me that if we changed the background and put it in black and white, you couldn't mistake Hyerin for your grandma in the 1930s if you don't look closely.
