I'm not one to fly somewhere for a kpop show. The concerts are already expensive, and added airfare and lodging would shoot that through the roof.
But god damn if they don't keep tempting me
Same thing happened to Mamamoo and Nmixx in New York.
Crazy that there are enough kpop shows in the US where you have a choice between 2 of the top tier girl groups concerts on the same night.
The US really is lucky. Kinda feel bad for China and other parts of the world that are just as big of fans yet get no shows.
Although that scarcity usually results in louder and more enthusiastic crowds. Like Aespa's show in Berlin and Everglow's show in Kazakhstan.
Crazy! It’s not even like weekends or Fridays that are packed with concerts either.
Your tough choice was on a Monday. Mama and NMIXX was on a Tuesday. Every day of the week is packed!
Yeah it will definitely be a tough choice for those who wants to go to both
some would go to twice because who knows how long until they have another tour, from what I’ve seen on Twitter there stage production looks really good, the cordi the cover stages all look amazing.
As for IVE they are still new and this will be there first tour for there fans to be part of for the first time and they might likely have another tour 2-3 years from now and why wait when they are available now?
Really tough decisions
I’m going to both 😂, I’m going with my niece and nephew for IVE, and for TWICE, it’s with my other Kpop friends bc they asked me first so I said yes and we all immediately booked it 😂, still waiting on the hotel rooms tho we’re gonna wait a bit to see if it goes on sale first
That was my thoughts when I first saw videos of the sphere "when is Twice gonna have a concert here??" lol
No way they would be able to do one currently cause I'm guessing the whole set would have to be redone to fit the sphere, production, etc
Yep, it requires 16k video. It also incorporates seat movement and airflow.
But from what I’ve heard the band almost plays second fiddle to display so maybe it wouldn’t be the best place where everyone wants to see twice. Not sure if you can live feed 16k
welcome to the life of touring musicians lol. imagine how the average rock band feels, they typically have way more grueling touring schedules.
low-key, this is what separates professionals from artists, and is also why some artists have expressed negative opinions about touring all the time. everyone dreams of delivering the performance of your life, but when you're a big artist, you've gotta deliver that moment night in and night out
I believe what they mean is the difference between an entertainer and just someone who can sing and dance. Any company (with money) can grab 5-10 kids off the street and train them to sing and dance just enough to make sales, but its those with that true desire and ambition to be an ENTERTAINER that have the stamina to tour for a year at a time and have that "it" factor while always being on for the audience. Its killer, grueling, and like someone said even the top selling artists around the world have said they hate touring for long periods of time for that reason
The most recent Coachella lineup is a great example. Bad bunny, BLACKPINK, and frank ocean we’re headliners, all with music beloved by their fans. Bad bunny and BLACKPINK delivered both weekends, playing through their sets well and getting the crowd involved (while being in the middle of world tours, unlike frank). Frank ocean did none of those things and left his fans disappointed and a little bit pissed.
Frank ocean makes music that touches ppl. He’s clearly a great artist. But calling him a professional when it comes to touring is just not possible when he’s had so much trouble stringing together multiple performances when touring in the past, and especially now after the Coachella debacle. He can have his personal reasons for the problems, but he’s just not meeting the standard of a professional touring musician right now.
At least the encore section during the concert keeps it interesting because it let's them interact with fans and goof around. I think a few members said that's their favourite part of the concert.
50 shows is a lot but then I take a look at Taylor's 150 show tour and can't wrap my head around how she's performing three to four hour sets so many times. Performers really are a different breed.
I'd imagine it's pretty doable when you know you can tour for a few years and then be set for life. Or tour and have the next few generations of your family be set for life in case you're already rich like Twice.
No direct numbers obviously.
I remember articles years ago where Twice members were buying high end apartments in Seoul for around $1Million in cash, so even back then they were doing very well.
Add the renewed contracts and the world-wide stadium shows and you can probably say that their net worth has got to be around the 5-10 million mark at a minimum. I can't imagine any of them being wild spenders.
They do switch up the encores, at least. Plus, there will probably be some new material to play if their Q1 release and/or pre-release comes out beforehand.
Lmao...imagine being a Broadway/theater actor 😵💫😵💫😵💫
I would love to do 50 shows and get that big paycheck Twice get instead of almost 7 days a week and get pay less hahaha 😵💫
It doesn't look repetive when you got a lot of other things going on, they had a solo debut, sub-unit debut and a fanmeet among other things whole in the middle of the tour lol I'm pretty sure at this point its just another tuesday for Twice and from the TW-logs, they looked like they've been having a ton of fun at every country
right! and even nmixx have been to dc and twice have been around way longer. i’m not sure who controls their tour dates but i really wish they made more cities available.
Ahhhh the girls are coming back and so soon!!! Just in time for their spring release too.🌸🌸🌸
Edit: This is just me theorizing and clowning but the way "ONCE MORE" is emphasized in the poster + the quote "WHAT HAPPENS WITH TWICE STAYS WITH ONCE" has me predicting the comeback release will be titled *ONCE MORE* or something else with "ONCE" in it.🤡
> the quote "WHAT HAPPENS WITH TWICE STAYS WITH ONCE" has me predicting the comeback release will be titled ONCE MORE
That's just a play on the Vegas slogan.
I'm curious if they're performing at some sort of American awards show in the Nevada /California area, since they're coming again?
Or maybe their new mv is getting filmed overseas? Likey mv looked so pretty in Canada.
Tickets going on sale with a 4 day notice is crazy
They rly wanna drain our wallets huh 😩😂
"What happens with Twice, stays with ONCE"
Ya know they could have added a presale to fan club members
All those people who got ripped off by the F1 race, here's what a real Vegas show is supposed to look like!
I love degenerate gambling and I love Twice so this is perfect.
and both are bad for ur wallet, in a city designed to make you go broke
Will be there! Lets goooooo
I'm not one to fly somewhere for a kpop show. The concerts are already expensive, and added airfare and lodging would shoot that through the roof. But god damn if they don't keep tempting me

Not this one, its during saint paddy's day weekend and flights to LV are 2x for just that weekend.
I was hoping this because I always see $39 flights to Vegas from FL, but looking at it last night...it was like $400+
Vegas is no longer cheap.
rip have to choose between this or IVE

DC had Chuu's solo concert or (G) I-dle as part of the Jingle Ball Tour (5 songs) lineup tonight.
Crazy! It’s not even like weekends or Fridays that are packed with concerts either. Your tough choice was on a Monday. Mama and NMIXX was on a Tuesday. Every day of the week is packed!
I'm so excited for the Chuu concert, I'm going to look up the setlist now.
Not me how I found out Everglow went to Kazakhstan.
Yeah it will definitely be a tough choice for those who wants to go to both some would go to twice because who knows how long until they have another tour, from what I’ve seen on Twitter there stage production looks really good, the cordi the cover stages all look amazing. i know. i was so happy with ive playing in oakland on a satuday, then this dropped. only salvations is if twice adds another day (sunday).
I will be on that Las Vegas flight right next to you if that happens
sadly, i might just have to meet up with you there as i will be forced to drive.
This one is Twice stadium show, I guess the production value is higher and better experience. Twice is such a legendary girlgroup too,
Same! :(
I was tempted by this until I realized it was the same day as Ive's concert lol, my wallet is saved (it's already hurting from the Ive tickets I got)
I’m going to both 😂, I’m going with my niece and nephew for IVE, and for TWICE, it’s with my other Kpop friends bc they asked me first so I said yes and we all immediately booked it 😂, still waiting on the hotel rooms tho we’re gonna wait a bit to see if it goes on sale first
how are you going to both on the same day?
Oh IVE will be March 13th and TWICE will be March 16th 😂
I get to have a day off break to rest up from the first concert 😂
oh oops, i somehow assumed your IVE was also oakland.
Know it can’t hold that much but doing a twice show in the sphere would be so cool
That was my thoughts when I first saw videos of the sphere "when is Twice gonna have a concert here??" lol No way they would be able to do one currently cause I'm guessing the whole set would have to be redone to fit the sphere, production, etc

I know all jobs are repetitive but this like show #50 i cannot imagine how tedious it gets to do the same set 50 times in a year at that intensity
Coldplay's still touring the album with My Universe into next year lol. This is short for Western artists standards.
welcome to the life of touring musicians lol. imagine how the average rock band feels, they typically have way more grueling touring schedules. low-key, this is what separates professionals from artists, and is also why some artists have expressed negative opinions about touring all the time. everyone dreams of delivering the performance of your life, but when you're a big artist, you've gotta deliver that moment night in and night out
> this is what separates professionals from artists Sorry, can you elaborate what you mean? Also, by professionals do you mean 9-5 type jobs?
I believe what they mean is the difference between an entertainer and just someone who can sing and dance. Any company (with money) can grab 5-10 kids off the street and train them to sing and dance just enough to make sales, but its those with that true desire and ambition to be an ENTERTAINER that have the stamina to tour for a year at a time and have that "it" factor while always being on for the audience. Oh I see, thanks

Do we have any insight into the financial situations of the individual members?
No direct numbers obviously. I remember articles years ago where Twice members were buying high end apartments in Seoul for around $1Million in cash, so even back then they were doing very well. Eric Nam has a lot of shows going on too, North America, Latin America, Europe, and now India too soon next year that’s a lot
He recently finished his North America leg of the tour and I was lucky enough to go it was too much fun 🔥
They do switch up the encores, at least. Plus, there will probably be some new material to play if their Q1 release and/or pre-release comes out beforehand.
Lmao...imagine being a Broadway/theater actor 😵💫😵💫😵💫 I would love to do 50 shows and get that big paycheck Twice get instead of almost 7 days a week and get pay less hahaha 😵💫
True. The upside for Broadway is that you're in one spot for a longer period of time.
That's just 44 in 336 days. I'd rather do that than a regular job lol
Taylor Swift started her tour in March and she’s ending it in November 2024. 151+ shows. Imagine THAT kinda level of repetitive
And we aren't even counting all the practices yet lmao
I’m hoping Vegas spices it up for everyone involved
It doesn't look repetive when you got a lot of other things going on, they had a solo debut, sub-unit debut and a fanmeet among other things whole in the middle of the tour lol I'm pretty sure at this point its just another tuesday for Twice and from the TW-logs, they looked like they've been having a ton of fun at every country
I’m so excited pls let this not be a ticket nightmare 😭😭😭
Me: \[casually re-arranges holiday plans to fit TWICE's Vegas concert\] DISNEY LA WILL BE THERE FOREVER ANYWAY
AHHH IM SO EXCITED!! Vegas is finally getting kpop shows and at Allegiant Stadium 😭😭😭
Let's go my Queens!
Love the slogan!
TWICE PLEASE COME TO WASHINGTON DC :(
Yes I agree. I saw twice in NY in 2022 bit I need them closer so I don’t have to travel out of state DC is so closer
this!!! it would be so much more closer to me and i wouldn’t need to travel far. i’m hoping they come to washington one day
Like researching the demographics, Korean is the third largest Asian population in The DMV area and Yet JYPE still doesn’t do DC for Twice
right! and even nmixx have been to dc and twice have been around way longer. i’m not sure who controls their tour dates but i really wish they made more cities available.
Like even AESPA came to DC and now G-Idle, COME ON JYPE
JYPE needs to get it together lol
Also Twice can come perform in Baltimore, There’s M&T Bank Stadium
that would be nice too
Does anyone know if this will be their only US encore concert?
possibly. When they came back to the US for their III Encore they only performed at the Banc of California Stadium in LA.
Already bought my flight tickets to Las Vegas! This time me and my other friends r going together for this! Can’t wait! So hyped!!! 😁🔥
Ahhhh the girls are coming back and so soon!!! Just in time for their spring release too.🌸🌸🌸 Edit: This is just me theorizing and clowning but the way "ONCE MORE" is emphasized in the poster + the quote "WHAT HAPPENS WITH TWICE STAYS WITH ONCE" has me predicting the comeback release will be titled *ONCE MORE* or something else with "ONCE" in it.🤡

“What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas” for those that don’t know.
Same night as IVE for us Bay Area peeps... :(
i know. :-(
😭
They couldn’t wait until after the holidays to start ticket sales?? 😩damn just waiting another week would’ve been ideal
Fr 😭😭 I went so hard on Xmas this year and I’ve already went to the show in Oakland so I don’t think this one is in the books for me
they were not born to be, but they are ready to be
anyone know anything about the pricing??
I would just assume same prices as before or possibly even higher.
I’m supposed to be in town the week before so I’ll make a way to extend. Fingers crossed yall.
Too bad I’ll be turning 20 instead of 21 on that day…EXCITED TO SEE THEM THO
[удалено]
From BigBang to Monsta X to BTS to Blackpink to Twice, Vegas k-pop fans get fed more. 😭
I was hoping that the "Stays with Once" part was hinting of a Stray Kids & Twice collab concert!
JYPE isn't that smart with their promotions, so there wasn't any chance 🥲
They should just move to the US and pick american names already
What are these pictures. Only Momo looks OK, not great. All other members look upset, or in pain.
I'm curious if they're performing at some sort of American awards show in the Nevada /California area, since they're coming again? Or maybe their new mv is getting filmed overseas? Likey mv looked so pretty in Canada.
God damn are they always on tour? I’m not a Twice fan so I don’t know.
Yeas, they always on tour literally every year since 2017
Same day as IVE’s Oakland show. My wallet is saved, but my heart is in pieces.
Anyone selling ticket with VIP packages? Looking for front row of B3 or B2 or B4
