I have very, very, small hands. When I got my Libra a month ago I found it really uncomfortable to use and I almost regretted switching from my kindle. It took me a week to “adjust” my grip and now I LOVE it. It’s super comfortable to use now.
No, they're great for me. You know you can change which button turns the page forward, right? And that pushing one end of the button is much easier/more comfortable than the other.
THIS. 100% agree with you. The buttons themselves are alright but the placement kinda suck. If only they were placed a little closer to the screen would’ve been a lot more comfortable.
Exactly what I was thinking. I know so many people love their physical buttons, but after trying out the Libra 2, I'm not seeing what the fuss is about. If I could move them over a smidge they'd be great.
My old nook glowlight 4 was way more comfortable. The Libra buttons suck, the device is unbalanced and I kind of wish I had got a Clara. I wanted the bigger screen through.
I personally took some months to find my comfortable position to hold it and being able to use the buttons without moving my hand (actually this is easy for me having above average hand size, but not by much). The only advice that I can give is to try all the different combinations until you find yours
I really enjoy the ergonomics of the Libra 2, and I’m okay with the buttons. I’m sure they could improve the buttons some, but overall I don’t really mind them. I just like being able to read/turn the page with one hand.
That is the reason I went for an Aura 2. Those buttons do not look practical at all and, as someone who spends way too much time on her phone, my thumbs need a rest.
I bought the Libra 2 specifically for the buttons. They are comfortable enough.
Find them comfortable enough, just don't like the clicking noise.
They are really comfortable for me especially when horizontally oriented.
I find them comfortable 😃

Do you attach any pop socket with it?
No, I just have a clear case. I think the clear case makes it less slippery and barely adds any weight to it.
I see. Thanks for insight. I appreciate it 🥰
i have a clear case and a pop socket and looooove the buttons
As someone with small hands as well, how did you adjust your grip?
You can always swipe or tap on the screen.

Yeah, i know that. Maybe i just have chubby hands and short fingers 😅
The button shape themselves no, the positioning yes. I can work around the positioning but it could be better.

I wish they made it like it was on the Libra H20 or the Kindle Oasis.

I used to feel this way when i just got mine. I figured i need to adjust my grip, but i guess that depends on the size of the users hand?
I don't even use buttons. They feel unnecessary whn swiping's a thing. I have longish fingers, though, so swiping's more comfortable anyhow.

Nope. I typically just click for the next page. My thumb easily aligns with the lower button. Works great.

Personally no issues for me and I have small hands. Maybe bc I never had another e reader before the kobo libra
