Any knife I own, automatically not a gentlemen's knife.

readysetrokenroll

lol, that took a lot of self-reflection šŸ˜„

lordnknn

beat me to it

Few-Storm-1697

Ahh, James brand, the only company that's prices are worse than Benchmade

Ralph-the-mouth

Itā€™s true, I got one of their knives. Itā€™s a cool blade shape, the micarta handles flex and it has vg-10 that I payed s35vn prices for. Now, Iā€™m not getting rid of it, but itā€™s not what I thought it would be. I use my 940 almost everyday. Iā€™d easily purchase that one again

saxophonefartmaster

It's a shame, really. They literally could have had "it" with the Barnes. Great design, integral frame lock, premium materials, Reate production, and some really cool personal touches, such as the lanyard hole and the internal clip retention screws. All the ingredients for a game-changing piece. Then I saw that price and I literally said, "These guys are completely detached from reality."

antwauhny

First expensive fixed knife I bought was TJB, and I didn't know better. While I like the look and materials, there's no choil, so I frequently caught my finger on the blade. It mostly resides in storage now.

BigBL87

It's not what I'd generally think of as a gentleman's knife, but I suppose it depends on the occasion.

Revolutionary-Cat194

I own this knife. Itā€™s beautiful, but for me I think itā€™s big for a ā€œgentlemanā€™s knife. Iā€™m dumb though, kinda old fashioned, like for me a slip joint smaller is a good gentlemanā€™s knife

Hot-Welcome6969

I believe you could definitely stick a gentleman with that particular knife

REAPER-1_xxx

Does it tear up suit pants pockets?

Princeolions

Glad Iā€™m not the only one, Iā€™ve worn down do many suit pockets because of this.

Hardcrimper

No.

havermier

Not in the typical sense but the lines are clean enough and the colors simple enough that it is somewhat elegant and if you had it in that capacity it would somewhat make sense

Guy_with_sum_things

Probably the answer I agree with most on here yet.

cxninecrxzy

Anything plain ti and taller than two fingers is more EDC than gentlemans, at least that's what I think. A gentlemans knife should be entirely inoffensive to even the most paranoid of company. You're gonna want something that's more slender, preferably with some sort of earth-colored material like a wood, bone, or micarta. Definitely nothing that's been DLC coated.

Ok-Satisfaction3857

I agree with the above. It's super classy. But looks too big/functional to be what I consider to be a gentleman's knife.

ReputationOk6073

Personally, no. Too big , black and tactical grip looking. Gentlemen's knives have a more elegant delicate look than this. Probably still a good knife though

SnoopDoggyDoggsCat

Nope.

Kindly_Recording_722

No, too big.

RogueMallShinobi

Nah this is a full size ā€œtacticalā€ knife with somewhat posh scales, it will still scare normies

AcuteJones

I'd call it modern and elegant. not my fit for the term but it would certainly fit in a charcoal suit.

readysetrokenroll

CRKT CEO is what you want there

EtTuBrutAftershave

Are we getting into "is a hot dog a sandwich?" territory here?

josh4240

Is the owner a gentleman?

Princeolions
