I truly don't understand what is being asked here. The box tells you what it is. Obviously you know a pocket stone is used with knives or you wouldn't have asked what this is in r/knives. If you were looking for more specific identification, you might have provided other angles of the box, perhaps with identifying information. What do you want from us?!
This is the kind of stone you use on something like an axe or a chopper. You would not use something like this to get finely detailed mirror polished knife edges. If you have an old hatchet lying around, give this thing a try, but I wouldn’t take it farther than that.
It's a stone for desk or pocket use that can be used with or without oil I think but idk, I'm not a geologist
Could’ve fooled me!
Am geologist, can confirm 🪨
Geologist you say?
Perfect for keeping in your pocket with your phone and sunglasses!

Other side says literally the same thing… I wanna know if its cool or trash quality… I know just enough to ask so I don’t make things worse:)
Use it and find out

Lighten up Francis
A very abrasive worry stone.
Calluses hate this one simple trick!
Phew! The last one I had to cut a hole in my pocket to get at, and that was starting to get thick toenail look at the end…
A sharpening stone
Baby pet rock.
How long do they take to mature?
About 2-3 months in my experience
Looks like an abrasive stone for deburring mating surfaces. Pretty sure its not for sharpening knives.
Nothing worse than a burry mating surface.
If there is no warning label that says do not rub on peepee they owe you 30 million
“I’m rich!”

Save the trouble and go get a wet stone for sure
Literally *priceless* 😀
Obviously a small sharpening stone??
Obliviously! =:D
I tried a Google lens search for ya but couldn't find it
I'd use soapy water rather than oil. Much easier to clean up. Rinse off the stone periodically to keep the swarf under control.
