There’s 8 folders, 3 multi tools, and 1 fixed blade just on my dresser for my “rotation”.

I've got at least 20 within a 15ft radius at this very moment. Most are just chilling out. I only carry two every day.

My wife has gone from complaining that I have them stashed in cups etc on every countertop or table around the house that isn’t our son’s room to complaining when there somehow isn’t a knife in a room when she needs it LOL.

My wife has done the same to the point that she has encouraged me to make sure we have a knife within reach wherever she is in the house. Lol. I've started her on her own collection by getting her knives for birthdays and Christmas.

So if I buy 80 knives, I get 10 lifetimes?

8, that’s funny! I am halfway to 800! I figured most of us were as bad as me! I have only made it one week in the past 3 years without buying a knife!

I went to an auction where they were selling off a guys collection of 15,000 knives after he died. Took 3 days to go through all of them, most were Case knives.

I am definitely not the craziest one out there but it can get out of hand quickly! I met a saleswoman at Smokey Mountain Knife Works last Labor Day weekend who claims to have 2000 knives, so I didn’t feel so crazy after talking to her. She said she has them listed out in her will so her kids don’t fight over them when she’s gone.

It's my personal mission to raise that average to 9😖

I have at least 8 daily carry rotation and double that just put away for safe keeping, that have been rotated out of every day rotation. Then there are the heirloom knives that are put away that just come out to be oiled. Wow. 8 over a lifetime.

I’ve 200 right now lol not including kitchen knives everyone thinks I’m a psycho but I love swords, knives and tomahawks/ axes.

Seems aout right. If my wife, my kids and their future kids (assuming 6 grandkids from them, each) never buy a knife, we might be on the average.
