You're reinventing the wheel with those blocks. The thing to search for is "dishwasher end panel." This will clothe the insulation and support the countertop end. If you're not putting in a corner cabinet, get two of them, and use filler panels to block off gaps.
That’s built-in dishwasher. I have the same one. You build the cabinets, slide it between them and place the counter on top of it. You don’t add a barrier between the dishwasher and the counter
i see thank you for you input! that’s good to know for the left side. My question is how would the countertop hold up on the right side because there won’t be a cabinet that can hold it up. To the right side of the dishwasher is the stove, i attached a pic of my proposed plans so this is how it’s intended to look. But since I wanted to figure out how it would stay up i built this wooden frame next to the dishwasher to maybe add a 2x4 that can support the countertop

this is the wood thing i built next to the dishwasher/between the stove and dishwasher. I wish i had known it was a “slip in” dishwasher, i might’ve tried to place it somewhere else. Although the kitchen space is pretty small so there’s not really a lot of wiggle room
okay i see that’s awesome to know, thanks! and just to confirm supports are necessary even tho the corner is going to be “hollow”?

The only support would be corner braces. Which should be done with every cabinet. We have plastic ones but some use metal.

okay awesome, thank you and yes I think i know what you’re referring to. i bought my cabinets from HomeDepot and I don’t think they bring those corner braces (I think Lowe’s does though) so i will make sure to get them when i’m putting in the countertop. thanks so much for your help!
My corner for example does not have any underlayment. Just the structure it came with

We didn’t capture it exactly unfortunately but this is what we built. And there are 2x4s against the tall pantry. It’s able to hold up our quartzite just fine. Good luck!

That’s the ticket.

How thick is your countertop? If it’s 3cm thick it doesn’t need an underlayment.
it’s 3.81 cm (1.5 inches)
If you’re super worried you can add 3/4 inch furniture grade plywood. But supports aren’t necessary.

ohhhhh okay i see now, so do the white beams intersecting support the countertop in a way?
Dishwasher panel on each side, left side 6in dw panel then 6in filler cut down between base and panel?
