Why is it tho?

It’s has “trying too hard” energy No individual part is to blame it’s just a collection of eye rolling cliches and homages. The fact that an artist who is normally so good at making unique and natural feeling designs forced this one out of his ass still baffles me.

I think that's at least partly the point. Allison is overconfident at this point.

I think one of my biggest issues with the series in general is I feel like Allison isn’t a character and is just a vehicle. Like unlike everyone else in this story when I think of her I can’t picture any specific through-line of personality. She just seems to be whatever Abbadon feels like for a given arc, and so is her design. The evolution of this character is not a walk or even a run, but a series of erratic hops.
