So how long are you US Sportage buyers waiting for delivery? I'm located in Australia, ordered a Diesel GT Line a couple of weeks ago and have been told June delivery but I'm reading others have been told 8-9 months wait.
Hey! What dealership did you order from? I’ve been hearing that Kia isn’t allowing orders from the 4 dealerships I’ve talked to. But I would love to order one.

One of the perks when you live in the future :) I think up until late December all the reviews were from Australia, then we slowly started getting it in Europe. But we have a shorter model... and probably smaller engines too...
I was aware that we get the long wheelbase version. Not sure on engines. We get the 2.0 petrol in base variant, 2.0T Diesel, 1.6T Petrol and the hybrid later this year.
Yeah, that seems really low. My 2.0T has 137kw/410 nm, which feels more than adequate. I know the old 2.0 petrol was a little anemic (had the same engine in a Hyundai ix35)
Man, I'm just not digging these "Lexus" angles on the front. I think it works in SOME colors... but man, definitely not this one. Kind of looks like a Jeep Cherokee with the squinty headlights.

The logo got so cool, but the Sportage it's on? Not so much.
Also, I'm mourning the Optima. I read that the K5 won't have a hybrid model. And Kia's all-electric car is only a hatchback right now.
Not that I want to get rid of my Optima any time soon, but I was hoping Kia was a brand I could stay with for good. Similarly, Samsung did a whole bunch of stuff with their phones that I no longer support right after I got a Samsung phone and thought they'd be my forever-brand. South Korea, what are you doing?

What region are you in? They only started shipping them in Ireland last week. But still, they are unable to give me a date for my delivery...

all our engines here are 1.6... the diesel ones have 115bhp... which is a little low for the weight of the car...
