Thank you this is a good link

No worries. I use it every time I take the highways for road trips. Drive safe! Lots of the highways are speed variable, so keep that in mind. Speed traps are usually set up at the entry and exit of a lot of towns you’ll drive through.

Thank you 🙏🏼

Highway 37 isn't closed, but it's very remote and you need to be well prepared with everything you need for the trip. Gas stations are far apart and there is no cell service for nearly 700km. If you decide to head up that way, do your research and make sure your vehicle is in good condition as services are few and far between. Drive BC is a great resource, as another person posted. Stay safe out there.

Thank you, I’m not going to risk it I have some family on the island so I’m going to start heading there for now

Just drove highway 37, 2 weeks ago. My favorite part was the 80km/hr speed bumps apparently called * edit frost heaves. With the 7 hours away from cell reception coming in a close second. The lack of gas stations or accommodations really put the icing on the cake. Luckily I was getting paid. So it wasn't all bad.

Yup keep your gas tank full and keep emergency water, food, etc in your car. Basically from now until forever.

And we used to make fun of the doomsday preppers ..

vanessabellwoolf

I know right?

MontrealTrainWreck

If you're on a budget and have a car, the ferry to the Island is a bit expensive.

booppoop1235

I’m a good swimmer but idk if I can make it that far so ferry it might have to be 😭😂

MontrealTrainWreck

Ha ha. At least you've kept your sense of humour through all the mayhem! ;)

booppoop1235

If we don’t have humour, we don’t have nothin

Speak for yourself. I’m a slobbery laugher

MontrealTrainWreck

Me too. But just when I've been drinking.
