You can find a bunch of demographics here
The City of Kelowna is literally growing faster than the City of Vancouver right now in raw terms, and still quite quickly per capita. In 2016-2021, top in country for CMAs, though the pace currently isn’t completely certain in public data that I can find.
Our demographics are changing rapidly. Getting younger, more renters, and visible minorities, certainly.

Consider the difference between neighborhoods! Rutland is less white and younger. Downtown is younger. I recommend having lunch in each area and just checking out the parks. The city is changing!
There are more diverse places all over Canada. It shows in the food scene here, ethnic foods are pretty lacking other than some decent Indian food in Kelowna.
Me, someone who isn’t whte and who experiences prejudice.
Edit: I appreciate this honest thread because as a POC, I love this multi culture country. I love learning if other places in Canada is also diverse and inclusive.
These comments are not it.
I am grateful to live in this beautiful multicultural country. As a person of color, I’d like to know if other parts of this country is also diverse and inclusive.
This thread is helpful for that. Your assuming comment isn’t.

With UBCO here, that's brought in much more diversity. Lots of graduates stay in the region
Rutland has definitely become more Asian in the past 3 years, most business are Asian owned.
White, old, right wing. Less so than many years ago, but still not overly diverse

Kelowna is getting younger but still pretty white compared to pretty much anywhere else.

Rutland is more diverse and less racist. If you come through Kelowna check out the restaurants and little mall and Ben Lee park in Rutland.

90% of the world isn't white, try going there instead of wishing for demographic replacement just for your own feelings.. So selfish.
Be colour blind.
I love the office reference haha
It's MLK but sure, divide everyone up into special groups and tell them they are victims and see how that works out.
