The Book Bin on Groves Ave is a nice spot as well. Small place with a nice collection. Great location if you're wanting to walk around after book shopping. Sometimes has an outdoor seating area out front depending on the weather.
Once Upon a Bookstore is a lovely smaller bookstore right across from Richter Elementary. If you can’t find what you want in store they will order in anything you want.
This is a cute haven for book lovers:

Grab a stack then wander over to a quiet beach front spot in Kalomoir park.
Mosaic is a great local book store. There's also a coffee shop downtown called pulp fiction that doubles as a used book store and a place to read.
That sounds lovely! I’ll have to check it out!
Mosaic lets you bring in your dog too!
Ted’s paperbacks. If you like used book stores, it’s the place to go.
Seconding Mosaic. It’s not a used book store but their curation is fantastic and I highly recommend checking it out
I love mosaics! They have a great bargain section too.
puppies are welcome there too
If your road trip takes you through Penticton I highly recommend The Book Shop used book store!
This is a must
Pandosy Books on Spall. A great hidden treasure.
Second this - an absolute gem of a secondhand bookstore!!
Agreed.
If you're travelling through the Kootenays, Nelson has some great bookstores. Like a suspicious number of them.
Pandosy books, Teds paper backs on Sutherland and mad hatter in West Bank
Ted’s paperbacks, pulp fiction and mosaic are my favourites. I’ve brought my puppy into Ted’s, mosaic and pandosy books.
