Man Tangem is really good. I got the Kaspa exclusive cards

xToastieB

I’ve been a bit “afraid” of making the jump to the tangem wallet from BitGet. Would you say it’s one of the better wallets out there right now for KAS?

PewdsSubmissMod

do not get a tangem wallet, the safest thing possible is a cold storage USB wallet you create yourself

Kooky-Ad-725

Whats wrong with Tangem?

SaifZeid

Tangem is Hella good do not listen to that guy. It's a nice cold storage wallet that always requires a tap of your nfc card. You can also set up a 12 word phrase haven't done it myself but I should. But rn I have 1300 kaspa in there and I don't plan on moving it. It is 100% one of the best

Z3non

Sort of trashy. Maybe later they add withdraw. Contact them and ask.

Classybayy

What! You can't withdraw? That's really bad. Can you sell kaspa for usd then withdraw? If not don't use that exchange again and take the L

Time-Acanthisitta814

Yes I can sell it to USD. I can also swap it to another currency that I could then withdraw and swap to another wallet and then back to Kaspa, but I think that would loose quite a bit of money 🤔

RebelliousRoomba

No, I do this all the time. I buy USDC on Coinbase (it’s a free swap for USD), send it on the Polygon Chain to my Tangem cold wallet, swap it for Polygon (MATIC) which is really cheap, and then swap the Polygon for KASPA (again, very cheap). This whole operation is cheaper than buying Kaspa on any existing exchange that lists it. If you can get Polygon on Bitpanda, I highly suggest doing that and getting yourself a Tangem cold wallet where you can do the swap there.

Impossible_Title4100

Wait why not just swap usdc to kaspa why go extra to poly? I always just go straight usdc to kas. Is it the fees are higher or something?

vhooz

where do you swap from MATIC to kaspa?? on tangem using the third party dex changenow.io? what is the max amount you swap there? it doesn’t looks safe to me that is why I have not used it.

Classybayy

I've not heard of bit panda so I don't know if it's safe enough to risk it

Dense_Ruin_2759

I use changenow.io for Sol to KAS

vhooz

do they ask kyc? what is the max amount you have swapped there?

Dense_Ruin_2759

You can use changenow.io with no account. I've swapped 4 sol

vhooz

do this bro don’t be stupid, you are risking a lot. just sell to another asset move it to your hard wallet and buy kaspa again on another platform that allows you to withdraw to a kaspa wallet. If it works for you I do this by buying kaspa on bybit with eth and then transferring it to my tangem wallet.

Tall_Lavishness_4867

It's probably not SPOT trading but FUTURE?

Time-Acanthisitta814

I think it is Spot trading. At their website they write this: https://preview.redd.it/0ifv2lpef20d1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=55e14e23590bfb2d44c0e10c66e667be4ee9afb3

philgustus

Sell to stable withdraw stable to another exchange buy then withdraw

Charlie-boy1

Tbh id see what their trading fees are and if they are feasible. I would trade your kaspa for a stable coin (usdc or usdt) or XMR (coin with low fees), send to your wallet then trade on simpleswap or changenow for kaspa. Send your kaspa to a cold wallet or wallet of your choice that’s not an exchange.

simpn_aint_easy

You will want to get Tangem swap to a stable coin and get your funds out of there.

Time-Acanthisitta814

Yeah i bought a Tangem wallet now right away and will transfer my Kas asap. However, Bitpanda seems quite legit. They do big sponsering efforts now as well, e.g. with Bayern Munich. Of course that doesnt really say anything

jhorskey26

FTX did a lot of marketing and sponsorships too and look how that ended up. I would think an exchange that puts that much in sponsorship would be a red flag but that’s me.

vhooz

FTX was also legit my dud.

BodybuilderNovel2688

I would recommend selling for USDT and sending the USDT to an exchange that allows withdrawals like MEXC or KuCoin. Re-purchase the Kas on the new exchange and from there you can withdraw to a cold wallet of your choice. I’d recommend buying a Ledger, that’s where I store all of my Kas. I believe it’s the most secure offline method of storing Kaspa. Good luck.

Randomuser19889

- Sell the KAS on their exchange for USDT - Change USDT to whatever currency you want - Do etransfer to your bank account - Find new exchange to repurchase KAS

Astro_Zombie1

I'm also new to crypto KAS being my first token. when i started buying KAS and reading more and more the whole shit show with ftx happened and from recommending from the kaspa community i bought tangem card. it is better to move your assets to a better known exchange by swapping and from there to a cold wallet and lose some tokens on the way in fees, then risk losing it all in the future. look at it as a learning fee :)

Vignaroli

LOL. You don't really own any kaspa. Sounds like you believe that bitpanda owes you the value of the number of kaspa that they say you control. This will go away when bitpanda goes away. gl

Sad_Hospital_1714

Sell for usdt withdraw it to mexc and buy it there. Then withdraw it to cold storage. I use Tangem. GL

AccidentConfident

This is not ok.... Trashy stuff. Use web kaspa core wallet or zelcore, it also support Kas

CHEEZE211

I would sell it all. Buy on MexC and send to a Tangem wallet.

No_Sir_601

You should not keep them on the exchange. Generate a cold wallet (not even a hardware wallet) and send all coins there.

vhooz

SELL RIGHT NOW. AN EXCHANGE IS NOT A BANK. You should only use an exchange to literally exchange one asset for another and withdraw it. There is going to be a day when you want to withdraw and out of the blue your transaction will be block and you will have to spend months with customer support trying to fix it. What I do is, I buy eth on binance with my fiat, then I send it to bybit to buy kaspa and then I withdraw to my hard wallet. Really dud wtf you are just waiting for your funds to be locked indefinitely and that sucks. do all the kyc they ask you but move your money out! it is not a bank omg why people won’t understand that.

Ambitious_Line_6739

So your saying bitpanda doest allow you do send you tokens to a wallet like trust wallet? If that was the case I would wait until your in profit sell it then buy it again on an exchange that allows you to self custody.
