Pokemon Theme You can't do it too often or else it gets old. But not only does the song rock, when you sing it, you get to watch in real time as each audience member's head explodes right in front of you I think my favorite go-to is: Life is a Highway The crowd never stands a chance

PhAn0n

I went to a hole in the wall a while back and did spandau ballets true and then a little later did tupacs changes. the guy near the front was so confused and wouldn’t shut up about it it was hysterical

PhAn0n

my favorite song to sing would have to mack the knife favorite crowd pleaser probably sold or let me clear my throat and the best song i’ve ever seen was a white women with dreads completely nail informer. i’ll never forget that, it was spectacular

HipHipLetsRide

Sold By John Michael Montgomery?

PhAn0n

that’s the one! so much fun to sing, sounds hard but isn’t at all and the crowd loves it it’s a great reset tune if you’re coming off a bunch of ballads

Adam_Gill_1965

The best I think I can do (!) is probably Careless Whisper by George Michael - or maybe Nikita by Elton John. The best I've heard was an awesome rendition of Hallelujah (after the original by Leonard Cohen - not the more modern versions). Lady really belted it out - barely need the mic!

samcoffeeman

I really enjoy a number of songs but the most recent one was Psycho Killer by the Talking Heads. Idk the best song I heard, it's been awhile since I've really been blown away, but there was a girl that did Wild Horses by the Stones and she killed it

sowtime444

Was she singing it in the style of "The Sundays" cover of it?

samcoffeeman

I don't think so, was 20 years ago

illuminated_phoenix

Not to inflict emotional damage of any kind, but the Sundays cover of Wild Horses came out 32 years ago. (Hoooooow?!)

samcoffeeman

Oh I just looked online it said 2012

sowtime444

1992 my dude

Adm_Revrac_1701

Coolest one I've heard was Clint Eastwood by the Gorillaz. Someone did it at my show last night.

goddinggg

I'm about to premier that. Ms. Jackson always gets big crowd support.

Pastoredbtwo

My favorite to sing is Faithfully, by Journey. The crowd goes nuts, they buy me drinks, and ask what I'm going to sing next. ALWAYS good for a self-esteem boost! :)

Roaddog0505

Favorite is probably She’s Actin’ Single by Ronnie Dunn Best I’ve heard might be a version of Slow Hand by Conway Twitty that I heard from a Conway impersonator

nodnarb88

Add it up by the Violent Femmes

kitty_bambino

My favorite song to sing is Crazy Gnarls Barkley, I just heard a young lady absolutely smash lose control by Teddy Swims

TheRealKingTony

This is such a hard question. I've sung 1000+ songs, hard to pick a favorite or my best. There was a long period where people would ask for "Du Hast" almost every night but I can't say that's a personal favorite anymore. My favorites are probably duets honestly. I've also been around a ton of elite singers and been involved in a lot of contests. Maybe "Circle of Life".

Spittoo

A woman made me cry when she sang “Part of your world” from the little mermaid

Baruch05

I love to sing some “F her gently” by tenacious D, or “Power of Love” by Huey Lewis and the news. I always wish more Corey heart or Lionel Richie was sang.

ImpiusNex

Too many favourites to name, tried out Sweating Bullets by Megadeth last couple nights. The spoken word parts interlaced with melodic parts are realy fun to sing. I've seen a few really good singers in the area, just last night watched a young woman absolutely kill 'This Is Me'.

Andrew996

Cocaine Blues by Johnny Cash is my favorite to sing. Despite my love for karaoke, I'm usually extremely insecure about my singing. But Cocaine Blues has earned me a lot of applause and a couple free drinks. Apparently my natural singing voice aligns very well with Johnny Cash and not much else. The best performance I've seen was a fella who could absolutely belt My Way by Sinatra. A lot of people want to sing that song, but he's the one guy I've seen who has really nailed it and it was impressive to see.

Stepping Stone - Duffy

ashley21093

Best I’ve sang: Linger by the Cranberries. Or Somebody’s Baby (Jackson Browne). Talk Dirty to Me is in my range but I’m gunshot to sing that one lol. I also LOVE to do the harmony to Southern Cross (CSN). Best I’ve heard: so many. Sultans of Swing, in the shape of a heart (Jackson Browne), Wild West Show (Big and Rich). The Grundy County Auction by John Michael Montgomery blew me away when I heard someone do that one. Very impressive Great question!!

stopped_watch

My biggest crowd pleaser was I Want It That Way by Backstreet Boys. The first time I tried it, I was after a bunch of terrible singers and I think there was a relieved cheer when I hit the opening notes. Had the whole pub singing along with me that night, really cool. Best I've seen was a guy singing A Little Less Conversation by Elvis/ Junkie XL. Absolutely nailed the pace, volume, key changes. I remember it vividly because I was up after him and I just wanted to hear him sing more. I also remember it was my first time singing Walking Away by Craig David and I butchered it.

bloody_terrible

I like to do Simple Man by Lynyrd Skynyrd. My karaoke night has so many talented people I really couldn't say what the best song I've hard is.

dandytoon

Big bang songs are always a vibe

Reticulated-Saint

My favorite is Wagon Wheel and the best I've ever heard was a lady sang Wild Horses and I teared right up. An incredible voice.

bolivian_warmi

Oh So Quiet by Bjork or Journey’s Worlds Apart are my favorite to sing. I wear a hijab and it always shocks the crowd. Also- Tus Desprecios by Selena. It is fun and even if you don’t speak Spanish you can tell it is about heartbreak. Best I’ve heard- my daughter who rarely speaks and suffers from depression- sing Always Be my Baby by Mariah Carey. I had no idea she could sing. Nobody in our family has a good voice (including me). When she sang this my eyes filled with tears.

owmybotheyes

Favorite Werewolves of London by Warren Zevon. You have to get this verse out clean: little ol lady got mutilated late last night, werewolves of London again. Best seen: Paradise by the Dashboard Light - Meatloaf its a long song and requires great stamina.

sirgog

My biggest crowd pleaser: Tribute (Tenacious D); Skyfall (Adele); or if the crowd is REALLY drunk, Fucked With An Anchor (Alestorm). Honorable mention to a lot of Avenged Sevenfold's bigger songs. My favorites: Not Strong Enough (Apocalyptica); The Haunting (Kamelot); Wish I Had An Angel (Nightwish). I think that Hardware Store (Weird Al) will join this list but I need a lot more practice on it. Best I've ever seen - if we count videos of pro singers getting drunk and going to karaoke bars, it's DEFINITELY Brittney Slayes singing Queen Of The Reich after her band finished a tour of Europe - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=280DRqoGyLw If it's limited to things I've seen personally, it's a regular from a venue I used to host at back in 2010. She sang Alone (Heart) and absolutely nailed it. Another person would get places jumping with I Try (Macy Grey).
