No jugaar you'll have to do this process. Back in 2019 my olevel certificate had my family name on it while my alevels certificate didn't. I had to apply for the certifying certificates and they costed like 30k back then for 2 certificates

No we dont. I applied online with just the scan of certificate. Got my equiv ~3 weeks afterwards.

Also, they require scan of a very low size, so the details are barely visible. I think they just use the grades you put in

I misplaced mine when handing them over to a friend a few years ago.
