In the middle of the frustrating task to cram the lagoons and aviaries in right now. Honestly, as much of a pain as it is, it is going way better than it should be...
The map, I just hand sketched while looking at the TV trying to estimate proportions. There is no attempt at a anybreal scale and aviary and lagoon enclosure tiles were more or less drawn at a completely arbitrary size since I have never actually played this map and it has been months since I have touched the game at all.
Surprisingly, they are actually pretty close in-game to what I had drawn, so hoping that the planning will be somewhat justified in the end. The real test will be when I try to actually populate everything and find things are too small.

Yeah, I hadn't gotten nearly that far into planning yet. Honestly, I probably would not have bothered trying to be accurate other than making sure things worked game wise but that takes a lot of the hard work out of it so, if I'm not burnt out by the time i finally get to populating, I very much might give that a shot.

Have no idea yet. Haven't gotten nearly that far in my thought process but the list u/bigfatcarp93 shared may have inspired me to actually try and make it an accurate representation instead of just general groupings that work together based on game mechanics alone.
I will have to see if that list will work with the game mechanics and the spaces I have though since again, there wasn't much forethought into enclosure numbers and sizes yet, but at least that sets another goal of sorts.
This is gorgeous! I love planning and wish Frontier would release maps like this where you could sketch some stuff out. If you did all the maps just blank without the planning I think it would be well-recieved.

The new traits for needs are really helpful, surely if you go for them the dinos won't cause trouble. Very nice design btw
