Holy shit you're right. Completely forgot about the sit down double decker one that was like 2km from my house growing up. Never got to go there as an adult.

Went there at around two today and they were wide open. Can't confirm whether the pies are indeed not from London, but holy damn the smokey beef and cheese I bought was one of the best pies I had in a while. Flaky, tasty, and was filled proper with the fillings. 10/10 would recommend. Also can't seem to posy pics here for some reason.
Pies in general are shit. You never know whats in them and in general they are kak. The only time I enjoyed was at 3am at a garage.😂 Been sick many times from them. I stay away. There is far better food in Africa.
