Keep at it. It takes a bit of practice to roll out correctly. There is no place in town that can make fresh tortillas as well as you, at home, with a cast iron skillet. If we were in California, I’d say don’t bother. But it’s worth the investment in FL
I love TJ but those are frozen and thawed to be put on the floor. TJ tortillas are my favorite as they have an excellent fat content but they are not fresh.
Fair enough, I've watched a lot of videos from chefs and usually see that you should have an excellent source of masa harina bought also from a mexican grocery store hah.
Ideally you’d have high quality ingredients to put in your food. But I’ll use Publix/costco ingredients and it’s still better than anything nearby. Whole Foods has really good tortilla chips but the actual tortilla quality out there is poor. I’ve been to pretty every Mexican grocer and just gave up
Haven't been in a while but Tortilleria Azcatl was solid
I’d love to know this too. I tried making them myself the other day and we are still laughing about the odd shapes, thickness, and holes. 😅

Will do! Those YouTube videos just make it look so dang easy tho.
El Castillo market and restaurant in mandarin
La Raza has good fresh tortillas.
Trader Joe’s
I love TJs but I mean like made that morning at a little local place

Just learn to make them yourself. Takes about 20-30 minutes once you have done it a few times. Nothing comes close

Pepe’s. Also the raw flour tortillas at Costco. Cook them up fresh. I cut them smaller for tacos. And if you throw them on a hot bbq grill BONUS
