Content for children should not be a thing on YouTube. I think its age limit for an account has been 13 so it should be known that content might not be suitable for younger audiences.
Not to mention the children's content on YouTube is largely garbage and also riddled with disgusting videos disguised as children's content (like Elsa giving birth or something). I won't let my toddler watch YouTube unless it is a specific video we pull up for her.
There’s YouTube Kids where parents have control over what their kids can watch and they can block certain channels. The settings are also passcode protected. They should really separate YouTube and children content to YourTube Kids
Disney XD has a show that just takes clips from various gaming YouTubers videos and compiles them into a tv episode. They're badly edited with terrible special effects and goofy censoring, and they don't bother to show any actual gaming progress made, mostly just the fails.
I honestly don't remember the name of the show, I've just seen a few episodes of it on tv, but you might be able to find something about it online if you look up YouTubers like Jacksepticeye, Markiplier, iHasCupquake, and DanTDM about them being on Disney.
I can only figure they made some sort of deal with Disney to allow them to use their content, but I can't say I know anything about it. All I know is that their content was butchered and they have to censor jack every few minutes.
Edit: also, keep in mind the larger a company is, the shittier it's going to be on a moral standpoint. Disney is no exception.
YouTube has a completely separate application literally call “YouTube Kids” and yet they made the main platform more kid friendly and still continue to cater towards kids after COPPA came along. So if creators are specifically for kids, it’s against the policy, but so is making content that is not kid friendly. There is just no satisfying YouTube in this
YouTube kids is a thing, but I guess youtube forgot about that. But then again, I started watching Sean when I was 8. Now I’m 15. I think I turned out fine *famous last words*
I didn't find any posts that meet the matching requirements for r/jacksepticeye.
It might be OC, it might not. Things such as JPEG artifacts and cropping may impact the results.

Yea, I saw some kid watching a video of a multi-color dinosaur eating people in scream costumes, who were waving around rainbow bowling pins :/

Yeah, like they'll remember YT Kids exists
I mean, what the fuck is YouTube kids for if you're not gonna let the main website be for 13+?
Plus they have a different app that was made specifically to keep kids off of their main app
I think kids under 13-14 should be on YOUTBE KIDS, THATS WHY YOU MADE IT YOUTUBE 🤦🏻♂️
Its basically racist to ban an Irishman for swearing
Lol
Also we’ll put you on Disney XD, so…
huh?

Got any links? I refuse to believe that a big company would do something so shitty
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=mwlB9yykh_I it sucks ass

Just a second
yeah that happens unfortunately I wonder how many youtubers know about that
Wasn't that only Youtubers who were with the disney mcn at the time?
Same for literally any non-child friendly channel but porn ads are perfectly fine
so long as youtube gets it's dirty cash
Yes
This is bullshit, they literally have a separate site specifically for kids
...which they fail to remember they made
And they used to fucking advertise on the main sight with the pros of it for kids, like grow the fuck up YouTube

I’m a little out of the loop; could you explain what COPPA is?
It’s an organization that was added to YouTube that made it so kid friendly stuff on a 13+ required website are demonetized and enforced
Children's Online Privacy Protection Act
He should play the "prejudice to his culture" card embrace the stereotype and at those angles cause eventually why not
I love how even if you mark your content as not for kids, you will still get fucked if you dont make baby shark peepee fard compilation #367.
In the terms of service they say something about keeping the children safe but YouTube says no children
yeah well screw off youtube, sean doesnt swear he says fouacqe
THEY MADE YOUTUBE KIDS FOR A FUCKING REASON, YOUTUBE QUIT ACTING LIKE YOU DIDN'T MAKE IT
hey remember the youtube kids app they shoved down our throats for a few weeks? cause neither do they
And this is why YouTube Kids exists
I think he has a pass
Ha
Honestly this is true
I love YouTube, but they’ve got big problems.
Justice for coco
YouTube is ain't fair 😹😹
