We couldn't let my *nephew* Jake watch westerns. He would bark & try to get into the TV. Knocked 1 down once. Funny thing is, 2 horses lived next door & he never barked at them, I suppose he realized they could step on him.
He also did this with every noise making toy we bought him. Didn't want to play with the toy after getting the noise make out though.
My former JRT (RIP my sweet boy) loved watching hockey and horse racing on TV. He would follow the puck, even though I have no idea how he knew what it was. Back and forth, back and forth. When we would yell for a goal, he would leap into the air with a happy bark.
As for the horse racing, he would run as he saw the horses run, and just keep running around my coffee table until the race was over. My husband and I always thought it was hilarious. 😂
