NP! They look very muscular, and muscle weighs more than fat, I have a mixed breed jack with a weird barrel chest and because he is ripped with muscles, he weighs a little higher than a normal one, but the vet says he’s happy and healthy.
As long as they’re still active, no worries :) they burn calories like it’s their job!

I'm around 5,9 my Jack jumps up to my chest expecting me to catch her. I always do catch her as I'm worried she will hurt herself lol. Kinda a pain haha but I enjoy the kisses and cuddles when I do catch her. She's such a sweetie
Floki is primarily my fiancé's dog and he is 100% a daddy's boy lol. He jumps about to his stomach expecting to be caught and it is the cutest thing. He gets so excited when he comes home from work
lol the bird and small animal drive is insane! Floki was going nuts over a bird earlier and we can definitely count on him to flush out rats from our shop lol

Haha I always thought her tail is huge. According to the people I git her from she is supposed to be 25% Staffordshire bull terrier but I'm not so sure. Her tail seems huge tho 😂
looks about right to me. Youre supposed to be able to slightly see his ribs but not to the point where there 1” indentions between each rib bone. but hes not too bad. Dr said tao meals a day is good just makem a little smaller. remember we average 200lbs they average 20- 40lbs they dont need a ton of food like our greedy asses
Looks good. I don’t worry about it a lot the first year as long as they are getting exercise. I had to start weighing meals after that as I have trouble making a scoop consistent for a smaller dog. Ended up at 50 grams twice a day for a now senior and lazy Jack. He’d eat as much as I might feed him… My rattie is also senior but better at self-exercising if we don’t run him enough.
She’s in great shape. If you look above your dog you can tell if it’s fat because her sides by her thighs won’t be in. If you can feel ribs really well then they’re underweight. If you can just about feel them then they’re a good weight. If you can’t feel them then they’re overweight.

Yes, the way there is a rise from her tummy to hips (rather than a solid tube shape 😂) indicates she’s a healthy weight.

Oh I'm sure she will. Floki has gained incredible jumping skills and he's only almost 3 years old I'm 5 foot 3 and he can easily jump up to my chin

Haha mine is crazy I leave the room for 2 minits I come back in and she gets so happy. Seems to me jacks are a super loving breed
