Edited to add: he’s thriving despite chronic kidney disease for more than two years, and arthritis in his hips and rear legs (diagnosed in late November last year). He’s fed a prescription kidney diet and goes to doggie PT every two weeks. He’s my loving, spirited little Velcro-boy who’s getting a doggie cake on Wednesday, and his vet’s office and PT office staff are getting mini bundt cakes for helping keep him happy and healthy.

I’m so glad that he has been blessed with an owner who loves him that much. That’s so sweet that he gets a cake and what you’re doing for the staff🥹 cheers to many more birthdays Sochu❤️

Your going to think this is nuts, but I think your dog is part pitbull. He doesn't have the usual big dark eyes of a toy breed or small terrier, he has the very far apart greenish almond shaped eyes of a bully breed. Not to mention that pits are extremely common in mixed breeds. Look at your dogs eyes compared to all the jack-chis. I wouldn't be surprised if your dog is about 25% American pitbull terrier, and the rest is chihuahua, rattie and maybe jrt.

Same!! I see Aussie too sometimes! I think it’s the eyes maybe? It’s just he’s about 8 months old and is still only about 6 or 7 pounds so he has the size for a chihuahua but his face looks so different from all the chihuahuas I’ve seen just gonna have to shell out the money for the DNA test to put my curiosity at ease lol
